Hi everyone, I haven't been on here in a decade or so but it's good to be back I'm two years into (part time) production of an animated feature film. It's a musical sci fi swashbuckler and I currently have ten minutes of it completed. I'm searching for great Animation Master artists that want to get involved to help me get it moving along faster. I'm self funding it so I'm not after full timers, just some skilled AM users that know how to get work out the door. Anyway drop me a dm or say hi on this thread and let us know what you're speciality is with AM and we can go from there 👍🏾🎉❤️ Dylan Perry Perry Animation

Hi gang, I have in the process of developing a game for over fours years, initial started out as a 2D game and it was initially developed in coco's 2d, then it was redeveloped in unity with with two versions, but I was working with developers that had just started out which I sourced through freelancer websites, after spending a lot of time and money on getting the versions made and setting up betas through iOS / Android the project was still not completed and I had to shelve it. The concept and development is quite simple, however it needs to support multiplayer which will require setting up a server for multiplayer so players can play cross platform or thro…

I need a fully rigged cartoon roach that has a mafia look and feel. It needs to be wearing a wiseguy hat and be able to click a remote control and talk (needs a mouth with mouth morphs). Hands must work (I need four hands that can be rigged and posed) - I intend for him to click a remote control and use hand gestures in the animation). If it can be brought into Carrara Pro 8.5, I do have Mimic Pro for Carrara for making him talk. The voice over for the roach will be that of a New York Wiseguy, so it needs to have that look and feel. Contact me with questions and so we can discuss price. Final format can either be for Animation Master, Carrara 8.5 Pro …

The key to getting any short done is knowing ones strengths and weaknesses. I've discovered mine is modeling heads. For some reason I have a mental block on this particular project. I'm trying to create a bear character based on Disney's Humphrey the Bear. Can't offer anything more than credit where its do at this point, but since I'll be use the character as a mascot for Pappa Bear Studios, it may turn into somthing. Just need the head right now, since that is my sticking point. I interested send an email to me pharris430 at nycap.rr.com.

I'm engaged in a commercial project that may require extra hands on board soon. So I'm really gauging interest for now. It's a "structural engineering project" so it'll be mainly mechanical modelling/rigging/animation for use in Flash. Therefore a knowledge of that program would be beneficial as some coding (AS2) work may crop up. Should we need anyone at all, it won't be for another month or two and it should last for about six months. Perhaps a year if all goes well. If you're interested please email me: kenhes (at) gmail dot com Thanks.

I'm working on a music video and I need two characters modeled and rigged from my provided roto sketches. You can view the animatic on Vimeo at http://www.vimeo.com/20167713. There's a recurring scene that first appears at about 1:50, people walk slowly across a bridge. they all have heart-shaped holes in their chests. They are only seen from the back. The camera will do a reverse zoom, backing through the holes in their chests as they walk slowly into the gloom. The models do not need modeled faces, face rigs or hand rigs, as they are only seen from the back. However I do need maybe one variation on each, maybe different hair style or different sleeve leng…

Hi, I am looking for someone who can model an astronaut for me. I'm thinking something along the lines of a U.S. Astronaut something like that attached. It wouldn't need to be terribly detailed, but some details. :-) Is that vague enough? I'll know what I want when I see it. Ha! I'll probably want additional modeling work from you, assuming you do a good job with the first one, when you're done with the Astronaut. I'm not rich, just a one-person animator who has zero modelling skills. If this sounds like something you would be interested in doing and you don't charge an arm and a leg, please contact me as soon as possible. Thank…

Looking for quotes on a 5 minute animated short, based on Dragonstorm from Unstoppable Comics. The Premise is simple, Dragonstorm enters a warehouse, house fights a bunch of ninjas (also from Unstoppable Comics), comes upon another villain, and ends with a to be continued. I understand that there is a lot more involved in putting this together than I can think of right now, and in no way am I trying to offend anyone with the lack of detail in what I am looking for. I own a copy of AM and just don't have the time to dedicate to learn the program with everything else going on. No sound is needed, I already have the stoftware for that. I'll say right up front I'm not sure I can afford this. So if you are concerned about wasting your time; don't waste it on me. I make a webcomic called Remedy. Awhile back I was trying to make an animated short for the comic. I have all the voice acting done. I had pretty good quality rotoscopes made by artists for all the characters. But my skill in modeling is lacking and I became both frustrated with the steep learning curve and the slow progress of my abilities and I became incredibly busy with getting the business end of the webcomics site off the ground. So now I'm looking to outsource. I have very limited funds. As I said I don't know if I c…

I had an offer early last week to build this model, but unfortunately things did not work out. I am looking for someone who could model the Spitfire: It would be preferred if the modeling could be completed in the next 2-3 weeks. Some requirements about the model is that a .obj export will be required as it will be utilized in both AM and 3DS Max. This essentially means that a denser mesh is needed, all normals facing out and the model be exported in parts as each part will have to be reassembled in 3DS Max. If you are uncertain as to how to do the export, then I can do it, just it will be needed that the whole model be built with a denser mesh,…

Hi all, Non paying...... I am taking 7 mths off work next year to do an animated short. What I need are Mentors/Critics to view my progress. People who aren't afraid to give me their full and frank opinions. Note that I am NOT after people who will just say "I like it" or "I don't like it" etc. I need those who are willing to spend the time to say why. At present I haven't decided on the platform (AM or Blender). Both have their good and bad points and my pre production is currently building the main characters (2) on both platforms. I will definitely be using Blender for some things (ie the NLE and Render nodes for post work), but if I do switch to Blender…

I am looking for someone who can model a very good to excellent representation of Dave Bowman from the movie 2001 - A Space Odyssey (see picture below). All I require is the neck and head of Bowman. The model should be fully textured (no SSS as I am using version 14.c of A:M). The eyes should be able to move, eyelids blink and the mouth open and close. The head should be modelled full size (1:1 scale) Once completed, I would like to be able to use the model whenever and wherever I see fit. I also want to be able to donate a completed Bowman figure model to the A:M Resources (Contributor's Cue), to go along with my other 2001 models. Credit will be given to …

This isn't really a "professional" job in any unspoken terms, but this is the "Help Wanted" section and probably the best place for it. As the other post above, this is a straight forward rigging and smart skinning, one model gig. Currently I've been using 2001 and wanted to try the squecth, but one step forward, two steps back. I'm out of patience and running out of lifespan, a hairline and my subscription... The model it's self, is rather incomplete... but that dosen't concern me yet (It's the body sculting I need) and she is also rather quite naked (but I don't know if that qualifies as the "x-rated" rule stated above). She's going to be a sword fighter, in a…

As you may know I'm developing my "Nightcrawlers" project in A:M. I'm looking for someone to rig Skarab, who you can see in the Feature/Special Topics forum. It's a straightforward rigging job. The project will grow later, but for now I'm looking to have this one character rigged and at the same time get a sense of the cost. Things to keep in mind are the non-standard anatomy requiring special attention to the shoulders and hips, as well as a fully rigged face with non-standard eyes and eyebrows. The model is about 90% done. The only remaining work is modeling teeth, finishing up his "utility belt", finishing the decaling, and organizing groups in prep for the riggin…

Hi Guys. My employer has asked me to look around for an animator and since I use AM, I thought I'd try here. He's also interested in getting people living in a different time zone to Ireland as then we can have people working "over night". However, all interest is welcome. The animations are then brought into Flash and converted to swf. So the animation isn't restricted to AM either. I've attached a recent example. It's a young company and we do mainly educational animations that illustrate client products or educate a student in for example maths. The company has a patented interface system and is attracting many companies. All we need now is more people to create…

Hello everyone! We - the E-Studioz team - is currently searching for an animator for our small hobby project with the (project)name 'Poge a Chimp', which has been in development for few months. Poge a Chimp is an action/skill multiplayer game with the premise to bounce other players off of hovering platforms. The setting is a lab of a nutty professor who's testing his invention with unkind experiments. The result are gene-altered chimps with a high aggression potential who have been shrinked by his newest invention - the minimizer 2000 - to a fraction of their original size and have to compete in his self-built arena in the center of his lab. I was recently contacted by a company (I can't disclose much here) that is interested in moving their product from a Alpha/Beta product to a Production product. It is a product that has many similarities to functions that AM uses (textures, 3D objects, positioning, blending). I, unfortunately, do not have the time to work on this project. It is a paying project (paying quite well for the correct individual). It will require knowledge of C/C++, object oriented design, 3D objects, textures, graphical user interfaces, etc. It does not compete with AM, just requires some of the same knowledge that a developer may have if they have worked with AM. You also get to work fr…

Is there anyone out there who is good at face modelling who would be interested in taking on a commission to model a face for me? I have very good photographs of front, back, left, right and top of the head/face I need modelled. This is for a church project and I'm paying for it out of my own pocket so I don't have a TON of money to spend, but I would be willing to spend a reasonable amount to pay someone, and if you have experience (and can show me samples) of your work of doing really nice work, I could probably find it in my heart to dig a little deeper to pay more for real…
