AM automatically assigns a model bone when you make a model. Is there a way to scale it in proportion to the model itself rather than accept the default size ? I have tried to change the size under properties but, although the new figures are accepted in the dialogue box, the apparent scale does not change in the view window. ? I ask because, when in an action or chor window and I zoom to fit the model using ctrl, shift, Z it zooms to include the model bone rather than just the model itself ? regards simon Imac/OSX 10.68/ AM16

I hope I'm asking this in the right place ? It might sound odd but, is there a way to change the way joints are listed in the action and choreo files. Not the names but the way the hierarchy is listed at the side ? At first I thought it was the order on which the bones were selected at first but. I tried to select them in the order I would use them later and it still seems to come out the same. descending it reads Back Back 2 Head Hips Then the first finger joint then the bicep What I 'd like to do is to get the hierarchy in order so it descended as Bicep Forearm Hand Thumb 1 Thumb2 Thumb3 First finger Furst Finger 2 First…

Which ones (EDIT: custom keyboard shortcuts) do you use? Here are two changes I've made, and I like them a LOT! Lock = L move Lathe to SHIFT+L Make Five Point Patch = SHIFT+5 Move Onion Skin to SHIFT+2 QUICK ADDITION: If you go Tools -> Customize, Keyboard, Export, it will open up a web browser with a list of all of the shortcuts.

Here are some examples of the additional customization Steffen has programmed into the A:M Community window as of v17Alpha5. In order to use this feature the user simply adds a customized HTML file named 'Support.html' into the v17 directory. The capability enabled here is primarily to supply a localized interface or menu within the A:M Community screenspace. Local administrators, companies, schools and even individual users can then push information utilities to that menu. Based on their interests or needs some optimized files could be supplied to them. Example 1: Holmes's A:M Properties tiddlywiki Note that there are some obstacles to overcome if we are …

Hey Gang, I finally got a chance to try out the new V17 Retopology Tool, and I think it is pretty well thought feature. Kudos to Steffen! I know at this time V17 is in alpha and a lot of people don't have access, but will eventually and here is my 'illustrated' guide to getting the tool up and running. I started with Fuchurs useful instructions from the V17 thread: 1.) Import a Prop (for instance an OBJ) into the chor-window. 2.) Create an empty model in the PWS and drag and drop it into the chor too. 3.) Good practice is to make everything but the empty model in the chor unpickable. 4.) Now select the model and go to the modeling-mode in the chor. 5.) C…

Why is the Choreography so small? This has always puzzled me The poll is modeled exactly 1m tall and then dropped into the chore without further scaling.

So I have purchased the subscription and downloaded the software. Did the installation and got through that hurdle. Now I am up to the 'The Door's Stuck' tutorial in TAoAM and have run into a little snag. It tells me to go to the projects tab in the library and get the project for the tutorial. um...the projects tab is empty. Is there a link to download the extras?

I just renewed my subscription for 2011 and want to comment on the steps for those going through the same process. Subscribing may not be the preferred method for everyone but there are benefits for those that do. Subscribing to A:M is a very straightforward process: - Visit the A:M Store. - Purchase a subscription. - Install A:M. - (If renewing remove the master.lic file from your master folder) - Activate your new subscription. If troubleshooting is needed here are some general tips: - You won't need to uninstall, just delete or remove the .lic file from your master folder. It will most likely be named master0.lic - You can verify your exp…
