jirard Posted May 23, 2011 Posted May 23, 2011 This guy is inspired from the witch from T.W.O. Not done yet. There is creasing around the nostrils I need to fix and a whole lot of other things I want to add. Crits are always welcome though. Quote
Hash Fellow robcat2075 Posted May 23, 2011 Hash Fellow Posted May 23, 2011 It's a bit dark... but looks promising. Quote
Hash Fellow robcat2075 Posted May 23, 2011 Hash Fellow Posted May 23, 2011 Ah! Now I can see. I like the face. If you were going to pursue rigging that my suggestion would to model him in a more neutral expression. Right now he's in one extreme and it will be tricky to get him to extremes on the other end. But it's good looking face. Quote
itsjustme Posted May 23, 2011 Posted May 23, 2011 Great stuff, Jirard! I'll second Robert's recommendation of making the face a neutral pose. Quote
HomeSlice Posted May 24, 2011 Posted May 24, 2011 Love it! Great stuff, Jirard! I'll second Robert's recommendation of making the face a neutral pose. Unless that *is* the neutral pose. But I can't imagine how it could frown any more than it already is, which probably means that what you have there is not really the neutral pose. Quote
Admin Rodney Posted May 24, 2011 Admin Posted May 24, 2011 Love the level of expressiveness you've got on this guy Jirard. You haven't lost your touch with creating 3D caricatures. Very nice! Quote
jirard Posted May 26, 2011 Author Posted May 26, 2011 Thanks guys This is the static pose . I may have pushed the elderly look too much. I will upload it when I finish. I used the Zevel plugin and kinda made it too patch heavy. Here is 1 more pic Quote
itsjustme Posted June 2, 2011 Posted June 2, 2011 Damn! Better and better, Jirard! He's going to be fantastic. Quote

largento Posted September 4, 2011 Posted September 4, 2011 Don't know how I missed this before, Jirard, but WOW! That is a great-looking model! Quote

jirard Posted September 5, 2011 Author Posted September 5, 2011 Thanks guys I am on my cell at work. When I get to a computer I will post more. Quote
jirard Posted September 10, 2011 Author Posted September 10, 2011 Thanks Paul I am liking the stuff u have going on in your thread also. When I started to model this guy I knew he would be patch heavy cuz I wanted a lot of detail. It seems that he has to many patches in the face though. Here is a pic and one variation of the head. Anyone see where patches or splines can be deleted and not lose detail? oldface.mdl Quote
Glob Studios Posted September 12, 2011 Posted September 12, 2011 This guy has so much personality in the still, I can't wait to see him move. -Vance Quote
Zaryin Posted September 13, 2011 Posted September 13, 2011 He is looking awesome. It looks like you can get rid of some splines on the top of the head and in the chin area. Quote
