  1. Thanks for tweaking this Rodney...I literally guessed at settings and did this before I headed to bed as you could tell from the detailed ice model
  2. did a quick 15 minute attempt lICE.prj right click save as
  3. Modeling gurus always amaze me ...I have a hard time with that part of am...nice deer !
  4. Where are you changing the fluid rate ... I did it in the chor and stopped it flowing then after awhile played with color in material then started up fluid emmision again in chor bowl.mov just a quick test
  5. don't forget you can chnage the background "sky" over time light.mov very quick example
  6. right click on image and select as below
  7. have you clicked on the model in the chor and looked at the pose slider window to make sure the pose is turned on...

  9. Here's a quick example using a simple narrow plane model with a darktree texture aroad.zip darktree material included ground plane just set to green with roughness

  12. newmodel...righr click.... wizards....font type in the letters after you pick the font the rest is up to you...above model and reflection
  13. if you set it up right a simple pose could open and close around an object open.mov open.zip
  14. simple idea might by a no patch model ..grouped then render as line plas.mov plas.zip
  15. make a picture of what you want on a plain background say black they either make an alpha channel to hide all but the pictuure or set the background color to be invisible and choose that as the sprite image
  16. the right decal sequence can do this also along with some sprites for smoke ...not at home so cannot show at this time but the other two suggestion would work the material effector is hard to control because it effects all models near it . the gradient would be the easiest approach here is five decals so the animation is a bit choppy black on white used as transparency decals melt.mov

  18. Eric in v15 at least in 15d after you apply a material you can bake the surface which becomes a decal that matches the material take a model and apply material right click on model and choose bake surface ...
  19. Eric I got the same results apparently the plugin does not work with displacement but why not bake the surface and use the appropriate decal for displacement I started to play around using one of the sprite images and got this bakedisplace.mov same model twice once filpped used animated displacement % over time to distort model and reveal flare then added some sound for fun
  20. turn off gravity change color to red and it should be close .. I'll try to post it later at work to 10pm ok heres a rough sample orangetrack.mov
