  4. what I did was take the image you posted and tried to quickly crop it to be a repeatable tile then first added it to a group as a group image file The using the same group applied the image using the matterial bitmapplus included in the distribution bitmapplus.prj right click save as this is not zipped These methods need some tweaking but putting out and idea for you to try

  6. you can edit the file with a text editor...look at a simple file first to see how it is setup ...then edit the other..you might have to loose part..I think you can send it to hash support and they will fix it . I did fix a few files but that was years ago ..you could also post it here and someone could grab it and look at it

I see a lot of how do I questions and try to answer a lot of them but if you want a quick answer to most of these questions you can search the forum and find them and many times a lot of different answers the search in the upper right next to help click then more search option then you can narrow your search from there Just another method to get a quick answer

  11. made a circle with enough points then extrude a number of times remove everyother spline ring select then comma then delete leaves points now choose model as a group then select render as lines webs.zip shape and color as needed this is a ~5 minute example earlier sample posted using sweeper and cloth web.mov

  17. do you want something like this sorry did not have time to set up animation but this is same material slighly modified and applied to a "shirt" on thom
  18. any material can be applied to just certain groups and attributes of a material can be set to work with a slider .. not sure what the "burn" ttutorial is if its the sprite fire then the emission rate can be controled by a pose slider. If it refers to a material effector then you have some control of the material but it will effect all the groups it touches but you could use the material in the material effector and adjust it with a pose and the gradient material

  20. this maybe a dumb question but in the chor do you have a ground plane that might be hiding the displacement
  21. Kelley what color are the footprints remember black is down I tried a quick trial and had the displacement increase over time for two black footpriints as decals on a plane this went from 0 to 500% first right then left foot.mov

  24. As stated you click on rotate choose new relationship then right click change drivers .... this is a bit quick but if you manually scroll the qt you will see the material rotate rock2.mov rock2.zip added the streaks just for fun
