  4. here's a possible simple solution or really a rough start in one possible direction weapontrail.mov weapontrail.zip pose controls " trail" another idea would be a dynamic hair image turned on and off by pose On both questions also look at Rodney's idea it is partially done here

The fire "sprite" is actually part of the material so once it is set up in the material area it can be appled to any model or patch. tonight made a quick somewhat fire looking material with the smoke sprite in the data that is downloaded with v15 then applied it to a simple model and then thom at two diffrent places fired.mov fired.zip project need the smoke .tga in the data

    1st which version and pc/mac... and define what you mean by rotoscopes: guides for buildiing models...or decals or ....
  17. Decide to try this used a flying pig model I had removed material and actually redid decal eyes as the last ones were on two patches and the initial pass showed strange extra spots. Then this render is with multi pass off which might accent the little dents near the nose holes then tried another mdoel with the ambience turned up

  25. I did this with a dark tree simbiot material which includes a bump map setting you can adjust this was at 25% I zipped a number of the materials that were brick related below Building_Brick.zip
