Hi, I'm in the need to build up a medium sized team trained in A:M. The TAoAM course is a good staring point. But the beginners need hands on training. So, Educators/ Teachers are needed to provide online lectures and guidance to students and trainees of A:M. I was wondering if I can get the regular forum visitors like you to provide such instruction. There are so many Hashers like you who are excellent in providing tutorials and training. You'll be using WebEX type of tool and can work from your home. You can conduct a full course or give lectures on areas of your expertise. This will be a paid contract. Please contact me at satyajit@satyajitchakra…

I'll say right up front I'm not sure I can afford this. So if you are concerned about wasting your time; don't waste it on me. I make a webcomic called Remedy. Awhile back I was trying to make an animated short for the comic. I have all the voice acting done. I had pretty good quality rotoscopes made by artists for all the characters. But my skill in modeling is lacking and I became both frustrated with the steep learning curve and the slow progress of my abilities and I became incredibly busy with getting the business end of the webcomics site off the ground. So now I'm looking to outsource. I have very limited funds. As I said I don't know if I c…

Hi all, Non paying...... I am taking 7 mths off work next year to do an animated short. What I need are Mentors/Critics to view my progress. People who aren't afraid to give me their full and frank opinions. Note that I am NOT after people who will just say "I like it" or "I don't like it" etc. I need those who are willing to spend the time to say why. At present I haven't decided on the platform (AM or Blender). Both have their good and bad points and my pre production is currently building the main characters (2) on both platforms. I will definitely be using Blender for some things (ie the NLE and Render nodes for post work), but if I do switch to Blender…

I am new to the animation world and have been toying with the program and have the hang of the basics. I am working for a nonprofit organization on a project and we have a need for some models. I feel I can do the basic animation necessary for the project but cannot create the models needed. Basically, what we need is a model of a fishing rod and reel, an archery bow, and a gun. What we would like is to make these models into cartoon-like animated characters. What I am inquiring about is if there is someone who would be willing to create these character models for us. I can provide the pictures of the objects we want to use. If you would be interested, please let me …

Hello all, I have a project and I need a model built and rigged, pose sliders for lip sync and facial expression. The model is rather simple but the poses will need the attention. Facial expression, lip sync, etc... I need to hear from all interested parties. I made a post here some time ago with miserable results. People who began the work then flaked out. DON'T WASTE MY TIME! If you are good and reliable, I want to hear from you. Thanks to all! Tom Rennen Intelligent Light LLC tom@tomrennen.com www.tomrennen.com

Like many, I need some modeling work but I dont have a lot of money. Here is what I need. I need two characters built (ther are not terribly complicated) bipeds. One is a cat and the other is a rat. I have the models built in Lightwave so you will have a DXF or 3DS reference to work with. I need them both rigged with the AM 2000 rig and they must have pose sliders for facial expression and hand clinch. The cat must be rigged for speech but not the rat. I also have a model of a boy already built in AM but he needs to rigged with the AM 2000 rig and have pose sliders for speech, facial expression and hand clinch. My time frame is flexable since I don't have a lot …

The key to getting any short done is knowing ones strengths and weaknesses. I've discovered mine is modeling heads. For some reason I have a mental block on this particular project. I'm trying to create a bear character based on Disney's Humphrey the Bear. Can't offer anything more than credit where its do at this point, but since I'll be use the character as a mascot for Pappa Bear Studios, it may turn into somthing. Just need the head right now, since that is my sticking point. I interested send an email to me pharris430 at nycap.rr.com.

Hi, Try as I might, I totally suck at trying to model a face from a photograph. Is there anyone out there who is good at face modelling who would be interested in taking on a commission to model a face for me? I have very good photographs of front, back, left, right and top of the head/face I need modelled. This is for a church project and I'm paying for it out of my own pocket so I don't have a TON of money to spend, but I would be willing to spend a reasonable amount to pay someone, and if you have experience (and can show me samples) of your work of doing really nice work, I could probably find it in my heart to dig a little deeper to pay more for real…

I have a job where I need a hawaiian male figure walking along a mountain ridge/cliff. 1. a. The animation actually only needs to be 2D but I figured building it in 3D in AM might be the most authentic solution. The mountain ridge has some dips and varying terrain. The attached photo might help describe the setting. The Haiwain male figure will be just a black siloette. He will appear screen right carrying a hand fire torch (I can add the flame in my post production) and walk to the first tiki torch and light it. After that he will continue along the ridge walk down the dip and back up the incline and proceed to the next tiki torch and light it. He would th…

What I am looking for is someone to rig a head mesh using Squesh rig facial display setup. I'm working on a music video and I need two characters modeled and rigged from my provided roto sketches. You can view the animatic on Vimeo at http://www.vimeo.com/20167713. There's a recurring scene that first appears at about 1:50, people walk slowly across a bridge. they all have heart-shaped holes in their chests. They are only seen from the back. The camera will do a reverse zoom, backing through the holes in their chests as they walk slowly into the gloom. The models do not need modeled faces, face rigs or hand rigs, as they are only seen from the back. However I do need maybe one variation on each, maybe different hair style or different sleeve leng…

I have a need for an exterior model of a house. Curtains could block off most of the view inside from the exterior and I'll need a front or back door that opens for a character to walk thru, but the lighting and camera view will be such that the interior view is blocked off (additionally a simple interior wall could help). Other interior details would not be needed. Also the story needs a driveway and garage - attached or unattached - it's up to you. Besides all of this I'll need one window to be partially opened and a curtain draped so as to partially obscur the view, so the camera can zoom in (Peeping Tom style) to the interior room - WHICH I'LL PROVIDE. Lastly the mode…

Hi, I'm looking for someone to create realistic room interiors showing my company's products in attractive settings. Animation is not necessary, though showing different camera angles and maybe even a "fly over" animation would be useful. Ideally it would be great to find someone local (Danbury, Connecticut) because I'd like to get some A:M tutoring too. But this is not mandatory. My company makes acoustic panels, and it's more practical to draw a model than find a beautiful home and ask permission to drill holes in the walls to mount them! Below are a few photos of real rooms with our products along the lines of what I'm looking for. My intent is also to show h…

Were are in need of a plug-in or material. History: We regularly create terrains that have roads, dirt and grass. The roads are rarely straight and getting a blend from the road to the road shoulder to the grass is difficult to do well. We have experimented with creating a gradient material to blend between the road and grass. It works well as long as the road is straight with no curves. The gradient material only seems to work in straight lines. We need either a material that we can specify at least 3 different images (with normals) so we can create a transition that can follow curves, or some other plug-in. The material needs to tile well (wou…

I would be willing to pay between $200 -$300 depending on the quality...PayPal or check via USMail. If it's already rigged for animation, GREAT! If not, I can use TSM2 to put a quadriped rig to it. If it has a modelled mane, GREAT- I may remove it and use particle hair though. The job is pending and I will keep you posted. Email me thru the forum email and show me some jpegs of your model. As you may know I'm developing my "Nightcrawlers" project in A:M. I'm looking for someone to rig Skarab, who you can see in the Feature/Special Topics forum. It's a straightforward rigging job. The project will grow later, but for now I'm looking to have this one character rigged and at the same time get a sense of the cost. Things to keep in mind are the non-standard anatomy requiring special attention to the shoulders and hips, as well as a fully rigged face with non-standard eyes and eyebrows. The model is about 90% done. The only remaining work is modeling teeth, finishing up his "utility belt", finishing the decaling, and organizing groups in prep for the riggin…

This isn't really a "professional" job in any unspoken terms, but this is the "Help Wanted" section and probably the best place for it. As the other post above, this is a straight forward rigging and smart skinning, one model gig. Currently I've been using 2001 and wanted to try the squecth, but one step forward, two steps back. I'm out of patience and running out of lifespan, a hairline and my subscription... The model it's self, is rather incomplete... but that dosen't concern me yet (It's the body sculting I need) and she is also rather quite naked (but I don't know if that qualifies as the "x-rated" rule stated above). She's going to be a sword fighter, in a…
