Hi everyone, I haven't been on here in a decade or so but it's good to be back I'm two years into (part time) production of an animated feature film. It's a musical sci fi swashbuckler and I currently have ten minutes of it completed. I'm searching for great Animation Master artists that want to get involved to help me get it moving along faster. I'm self funding it so I'm not after full timers, just some skilled AM users that know how to get work out the door. Anyway drop me a dm or say hi on this thread and let us know what you're speciality is with AM and we can go from there 👍🏾🎉❤️ Dylan Perry Perry Animation

NOTE: I have borrowed from Eugene's post, as his specs are almost the same as mine. We are in need of a person to model, texture and rig a 2003 Silver Jeep Cherokee. Specifications: The important thing here is that the vehicle should look good from the outside as I do not need any internal parts except for the seats and a dashboard. The interior of the vehicle does not need a lot of detail. You only need include the dashboard, steering wheel, seats and rear view mirror. Also, the dashboard does not need all the gauges and vents modeled although you can use a decal to keep it simple. (Ebay had some dash board images for a jeep) The overall dimensi…

It's people so... organic. I need them finished within the next month(but flexible). The models can be variations of the previous models and the face rigging doesn't have to be elaborate. Hello--- GREAT new forum here at Hash! I put out a job bid today on some animation that would entail closeups and action shots of a 'rubix cube'... I seem to remember, maybe way back in the 'Hash-List' day (pre-forum) someone had come up with a way to rig this puzzle, which may sound easy...but it ern't. Please contact me if you know who it was, or if you feel you are up to the task. I will need a quote for services, and if/when the job happens (no promises) then we will arrange payment/delivery. Please do not respond here. Direct any replies via email. Here is a link of a rubix cube puzzle if you are unfamiliar... http://www.ninedirect.com/skin/wh…

We need a human model of an African American truck driver. We have one full height image of him that could be used as a decal. I would expect him to have a rig that even I can use. Hands need to close around a steering wheel. Head needs to turn right and left, up and down. Eyes need to blink, and open wide in fear. Mouth needs teeth, and needs to open in fear. I would expect no creasing on the neck, hips (he is sitting) or arms. Model will wear a baseball cap, so no hair is required. Modification of an existing model is OK. The project will pay $250 US Thanks, David

Hiya, Is there anybody on-line who: * Lives in Toronto? * Has AM15? * Has either a *really* fast computer or a render farm setup? I'm helping a friend out with graphics for an independent film short. My computer is very reasonable, but rendering time is still time. If some kind soul has some rendering horsepower to spare, I'd like to talk to you. You will be paid in the standard currency of independent films... Screen credit and gratitude! Thanks very much! Please respond to josham@cjmunday.com, subject "RENDERING".

Hi Guys. My employer has asked me to look around for an animator and since I use AM, I thought I'd try here. He's also interested in getting people living in a different time zone to Ireland as then we can have people working "over night". However, all interest is welcome. The animations are then brought into Flash and converted to swf. So the animation isn't restricted to AM either. I've attached a recent example. It's a young company and we do mainly educational animations that illustrate client products or educate a student in for example maths. The company has a patented interface system and is attracting many companies. All we need now is more people to create…

Hello everyone! We - the E-Studioz team - is currently searching for an animator for our small hobby project with the (project)name 'Poge a Chimp', which has been in development for few months. Poge a Chimp is an action/skill multiplayer game with the premise to bounce other players off of hovering platforms. The setting is a lab of a nutty professor who's testing his invention with unkind experiments. The result are gene-altered chimps with a high aggression potential who have been shrinked by his newest invention - the minimizer 2000 - to a fraction of their original size and have to compete in his self-built arena in the center of his lab. By means …

We're going to try and sell single solutions: like "Make Anime" at an anime con, or "Make Superheros" at a comic con, or "Make Titles" at a DV con. First up, "Make Anime," (let's see if this even works?): Requirements: 1) Written for 7th graders (are you smarter than a 5th grader?) 2) Includes everything to a finished product - INCLUDING A:M NLE & sound! (Post on A:M Films) Here's what I suggest: Gather up all the anime or anime-like free models we've got, (see the "A:M Extras" DVD - if you don't have it, buy it from our store.) Find the existing "How to Model Anime" tutorials (there are several). Use as much drag-n-drop as possible (7th graders!).…

I'm wanting a human heart model along the lines of this - I'm going for "cool" and a photorealistic style (not cartoony or abstract) - it's not necessary to be scientifically accurate... Nonetheless, it should have the following: 1. extended into and out of "pipes" (just run them a foot or two and then loop them back into themselves - in the final application I'll hook them up to the rest of the scene) 2. An action (or set of actions) that produce "beating" and blood circulation along with demonstration of same in a rendered choreography. 3. Of course some sort of blood-like simulation should be done inside the thing - your choice o…

Hi, I am looking for someone who can model an astronaut for me. I'm thinking something along the lines of a U.S. Astronaut something like that attached. It wouldn't need to be terribly detailed, but some details. :-) Is that vague enough? I'll know what I want when I see it. Ha! I'll probably want additional modeling work from you, assuming you do a good job with the first one, when you're done with the Astronaut. I'm not rich, just a one-person animator who has zero modelling skills. If this sounds like something you would be interested in doing and you don't charge an arm and a leg, please contact me as soon as possible. Thank…

I was recently contacted by a company (I can't disclose much here) that is interested in moving their product from a Alpha/Beta product to a Production product. It is a product that has many similarities to functions that AM uses (textures, 3D objects, positioning, blending). I, unfortunately, do not have the time to work on this project. It is a paying project (paying quite well for the correct individual). It will require knowledge of C/C++, object oriented design, 3D objects, textures, graphical user interfaces, etc. It does not compete with AM, just requires some of the same knowledge that a developer may have if they have worked with AM. You also get to work fr…

I'm engaged in a commercial project that may require extra hands on board soon. So I'm really gauging interest for now. It's a "structural engineering project" so it'll be mainly mechanical modelling/rigging/animation for use in Flash. Therefore a knowledge of that program would be beneficial as some coding (AS2) work may crop up. Should we need anyone at all, it won't be for another month or two and it should last for about six months. Perhaps a year if all goes well. If you're interested please email me: kenhes (at) gmail dot com Thanks.

A former AnimationMentor classmate of mine, Kevin Detwiler, is finishing up his final "short film" project and is looking for someone to help him with lighting it. I got to see his animatic, which was funny, and Kevin's a strong animator (and had Victor Navonne supervising him) so i think this would be a very fine project to be associated with. It takes place mostly inside a gym/health club so someone talented at lighting characters in indoor situations would be good. I recall there is one outdoor scene too. Since he doesn't have a render farm, think solutions that are minutes per frame, not hours. I don't know about pay, if any, but you can contact K…
