Hashers, Here is my latest non mechanical model. used 3D painter for the decals for hair color, still trying to get a handle of this organic? modeling. Still have more hair grooming to do a touch up or two on the decals, and to texture the antlers. more work on the geometry proportions. More pics to come as model progresses. (Note: I used the unicorn model from the Extras DVD as a starting point, so much thanks to Eric Lindstrom, hope I got that right)

Love that!, my youngest son would "try" to do that same thing, bouncing nurf balls off our heads, so very funny in an animation, nice !

I got permission to check back tonight (thank you work place) I came to post that I was going to modify an older model to make it to the mascot contest, I may still enter it if I can finish the Deer. I'm going to "try" to remember the solutions so next time I can take a deeper look, and thanks for the info... Well Im going to check over the forum sense I have a little authorized time to do so. Deer Hashers, I dont get to post or surf very often due to the fact I connect only at work where Im monitored, and limited in time allowed online. I now would like to ask for help, I was working on a Deer model splining and such when I got an error #503? when trying to save my model, it now will not load, any of the three I had saved. attached is a zip containing the 3 versions, if anyone can get this to load up in AM, Im using v14c on a PC, it would be greatly appreciated. Ill try to check back on Friday, maybe thursday night to see if anyone had the time and or luck with it, looks like my mascot wont make the deadline. OH MY!!! I have missed this thread, can't believe it..... looks like it started when I was away from the board for awhile, So happy to catch this, and Im speechless!, very super looking film, when I see these it keeps my interest up I'm A:M , not that I could ever be that good at it, but it does make me strive to be better that I was yesterday.... Well said George, that rigging and human modeling too, are just so time consuming it is way beyond my time constraints so these riggs and the such come in so handy when needed. Just another dept I can never repay, so thanks to all of you who like David and Mark making things easier for other, mush appreciated.

I suggest taking a look at a pre existing model and see how the splines lay, and go from there.

Hang in there!, it may seem slow going at first, but this software is much more user friendly than most if not all other 3d programs....

Sense this seems to be the only place I can post without getting an error, what would be up with that? I wanted to post in some of the new forums recently started but I get an error page when I click on reply or some of the links.
