Hi guys

Here is a simple barrel model I made while making textures for my new site. Please let me know what you think.

I have attached the model in case anyone wants it, but you will have to download the textures from my site though :)

I am not sure I agree, unless you are talking about personal taste. Here is the original photo which I based the texture of:

Beauty! I never understood how those things held liquid.

I assume the same way wooden boats kept the water out. :-)

Every wooden boat I've been in had a bucket to bail water out.

I've just renamed this thread from "Old barrels" to "Free textures", since I am going to use this thread for updates. For those who use twitter can of course follow me on http://twitter.com/nordicfxnet :)

Anyway, I have uploaded some birchleaves textures. Three different leaves both top side and underside.

Maps included:

Diffuse (png with transparency and tga with alpha)

Thanks Stian!

Perhaps someone has already asked or the information is on your site but...

If wanting to use any of your textures for commercial projects what is the best way to go about that... contact you via your website?

Yeah, good question. At the moment there is no options. I dont have the strategy for the site ready yet. I have been playing with the idea of adding a donation button, where you can pay whatever you want. But all this is in idea/planning phase as of yet

These leaves are fantastice looking. Is that a cookle-cut render? The lighting is excellent.
Thanks! Yes it is cookie-cut. The lighting is simple, AO and a sun :)

I have added several new textures and HDRI environments since my last post.

Here is one of the new additions. I made an autumn version of the birchleaves. 15 different leaves
