  1. Finally I'm in the game again... My new desktop is running fast and furious: MB - EVGA X58 Processor - QuadCore Intel Core i7 950, 3051 MHz (8 threads) (overclocked to 4,0 Ghz) ( cooler Zalman X10 Extreme ) Memory - 24 Gb Corsais X3 DDR3 Graphic - GT 480 v16 64BIT beta 5: 4:14
  2. Nice model RS3D... i'll give it a try... so I mount my new desktop in this weekend.
  3. I loved it .... very good.... a cintiq is in my plans to the future
  4. Q1 -generally I use only one camera in choreography... then I use Interpolation methods to manipulate it. - unhide Timeline ( VIEW -> Timeline ) - manipulate the camera in the Choreography - select CAMERA ( PWS ) - select all frames in TIMELINE - right click then choose INTERPLOLATION METHOD -> HOLD this way the camera will "jump" suddenly from position to another
  5. Hey Gene... your models are becoming better and better .... keep going on....
  6. Happy birthday Will ... or should I say Magnum ( 44 )???
  7. this happens with all newbie ..... ... leaving jokes aside, have you tried to render it as an individual model ? Can you make problematic model available for download ? EDIT : I remember now ... I had the same problem when I rendered a model that had one of its cp's hidden
  8. Robert ... your rocket always amazes me .... excelent work ....
  9. Thanks Stian .... In the action ( of course ) I separated the bodywork side and then the roof and hood, then applied a single decal on them separately. I also had to increase the value/scale of the roughness (bodywork) . In the camera I used a default film grain ( Post Effect ). After rendered I applied some filters in Photo Paint to "warm" the color in the image then I worked in the shadows to balance lighting. only that simple and efficient... EDITED : I forgot to mention that I used a sun light ( DIFUSE = OFF / SPECULARITY = ON ) and increased specularity ( S=1000 / I=600 ) in the bodywork to match the bus specularity
  10. Woodstock .... yeah .... I took my axe and put my model on the road Stian .... could I use your post? well ... I've used;)
  11. HDRI would be great in this scene ... to be reflected in the waterdrops ....
  12. Thanks Stian ... nice render ... the material that you used matched perfectly with the model .... very nice... My' model is notably an older version than the Stian. We can verify this by the headlights and bumper here is one of '60 references that I used More details can be found in the original post
  13. amazing ... as is usual in all your work....they are an inspiration.
  14. I did a new test now using hair ( feathers ) as wing instead dynamic constraint... is it better ?
  15. Thanks Mr. Bryant .... Scene 01 -Sequence 01 First flight test render - shaded mode voo.mov
  16. I believe that arara is done ... I 'll use hair material to feathers ... now working on its rig that will be extremely simple. My focus in this first scene is the beating of wings
  17. great suggestion .... I will make some changes in the environment and this will be one of them The straight streets seem odd, but you may have a reason for this? no reason ....it will be fixed Today I was working on the bird trying to create some feathers ( using hair material ) ... A:M V16 crashed and now I can't open the model ... tomorrow I'll back to it thanks for comments/sugestions
  18. I did it .... How about that? yes .. a long yellow/blue wing thanks for the compliments, friends. To the city that appears in the first sequence I intend to use the choreography that I created a long time ago ( 2004 ) ... did you remember it ?
  19. some thoughts ... -No matter how much memory is installed ( 8Gb Corsair XMS2 Extreme here ), A:M uses only 1.30 Gb to render -The only way to reduce the rendering time is to use a more powerful processor -A:M only uses 1 core .. always A:M is able to open just one instance here ... did I miss something?
  20. V16 beta 3 64bit 5:03 Intel Core2 Duo E6750 2.67 GHz 2 core 4 GB RAM Windows 7 64bit... this 64bit version is pretty fast ..... thank you Hash Team .... you are doing a great job there
  21. Thanks Mrs. Nancy... more are coming Robert I really appreciate your comment ... I redid the decal and the result is much better... natural... thank you for your comment...
  22. This past week I studied how others tools works and next week I'll back to animatics .... today, when I playing with A:M, I resolved to model the arara ( bird in the sequence #1 ). I intend to record ( Time lapse in full hd ) the whole construction of the models that I create for this project. MODEL #1 - Arara whitout wings yet Sketch Model Time Lapse C&C are welcome ....
  23. Hi.... I'm still adjusting myself to the new tools. And I would like to show you the first few seconds of animatic. Please... C&C are welcome as always ... tdp.mov
  24. Just to say that your new signature is greeeaaaat .... Good job....
  25. while trying to write the script ....I noticed that write isn't my strong suit ( is this expression correct ? )...I'm much more visual, then I invested in two more tools. -Wacom Tablet Bamboo CTH-661 -ToonBoom Storyboard Pro The project is becoming professional, since I received a motion to refer it to an examination of private banking, which considers the projects that receive government funds aid to culture. The challenge is just beginning ... in a week I hope to present you the first scenes of the animatic.
