    initial velocity will works if life expectancy is short .. try set it to 100.. the gravity is still there

I was reading de Rodney's post about WIP banner in the jobs forum... and I thought of a project based in wood gears and perpetual motion machine .... here is it ... no keyframes in this animation as you can see in the image below ... all moviments are based in expressions. I'll post the project tomorrow ... it's on my office's machine. engrenagem.mov

  7. I use to model them in separate windows then put them together in the choreography. Indeed .. wheels account for more than 60% of the patches in the model.
  8. Very nice rendering Nancy ..... In fact, this test was done in order to know how the A:M would behave using radiosity and multiple light sources. I'll render another scene without radiosity... to compare the result and render time.. another trick ...as you can see in the project, I deformed the balls to give them a non linear movement

I'm glad you liked it ... 1- In few words ...radiosity simulates the emission of light from a surface when it is hit by a light source 2- I didn't understand what kind of effect you mean.. I used lens flare to adjust visual intensity of each light. 3- rendered in 720P resolution. using Netrender 4 cores .. 36 hours Check the project (attached) for more details light_ball.zip
  10. I bet in "Breakable Explodeobject" .. but I never use it ... check Newton Physics for more information if any master knows how to setup it .. please feel free to help us I can´t put it to work in my tests

    Hi Mark. I was studing walk cycle and I noticed that the foot need 2 IK bases. In the heel when it touchs the ground (standing in front) and in the toe before lifting from the ground (standing behind) . Is there a way to change IK between heel/toe ? Am I clear ?
  15. Thx... I had few time to work on it... when I increased the "bounce", the interaction between balls was too fast... But.. Of curse the results can be much much better

  17. David ... on the posable installation steps (txt)... you wrote -> Run installrig plugin then import FINAL_IMPORT ... now you wrote to import FINAL_IMPORT and run installrig plugin. Is the order relevant ?
  18. My focus for while is body rig ... I didn't install face rig yet. When do I assign cps to bones ?
  19. indeed, I'm not in this step yet... I'm a little lost in the step 4 ... the index/finger_install have Translate/Rotate/Scale ... but the other fingers doesn't. Why ? I need rotate/scale (middle, ring, pinky) to adjust them on my model... Am I missing something ?

  21. Hi David ... In Posable installation steps the last step is to weight cp´s .... Do I need to weight both sides ???
  22. You must use sequenced images ( PNG / TGA ) instead a movie ( MOV / AVI ) ... remember to set frame rate to the rotoscope's frame rate
