  4. Happy birthday Stian..... my best wishes...
  5. I'll take this week to modeling the main character of the story. His name is Frank, an English citizen, graying, 40 years old, a tourist, who is in town to attend the maiden voyage of the Trem do Pantanal 2020. C&C are welcome ....
  6. thanks Nancy ... for the brief tutorial but if I do some correction in the animation, I have to "re"bake the scene, right ?
  7. Excuse my ignorance, but, bake hairs? I already read about bake materials but hairs ? ..particle bakes ... I lost the thread somewhere
  8. If you are using just one PC ... check how many cores it have.. you can relate one instance of A:M for each core.. in WINDOWS OS open TASK MANAGER and go to PROCESSES.. left click in MASTER(64).exe and choose SET AFFINITY. You must set diferent core for each instance.

  15. Hi Master ... render the sequence as png ... then go to http://gickr.com/ and create an animated gif using the rendered frames... easy, fast and free. PS: note the add one more picture option ...
  16. try it in the most new release V16 RC2
  17. yep ... topic well.... back to 2011 project
  18. As I said ... the Olympic events would be great to practice all principles' animation.... I already did it 7 years ( !!!!) ago .... Mr. Ball Death but in 25 seconds
  19. correct me if I'm wrong, each project uses the amount of memory needed to render it. depending on the type of scene in question (radiosity, particles, hair, Newton .....). If you need increase speed to render an animation process you can set a processor affinity in the task manager processes ( left click on MASTER64 process and choose set affinity ) In your case you can run 4 instances of A:M and stablish one processor for each instance.
  20. absolutely no problem John....I shared it for this propose. I liked the brown color.. good choice
  21. I loved it John ..... Did you model the ball ? or is it one that I shared ?
  22. perfect ....
  23. I don't have A:M here..... but i guess that you must to use the Y-GetTime()... Y-1 ( frame 1) Y-2 ( frame 2) Y-3 ( frame 3) . . . Y-n ( frame n)
  24. Amazing work Hashers .... I'm proud to be part of this forum. Robert ... the animation, in your sequence, is really good as well as Pfeifer's sequence. Who's going to organize 2011? [2]
