Shortcut.... Press Q to enter in render mode then using right button mouse drag the rectangle around the area or... press SHIFT+Q to lock render mode ... so you can make adjustments while render is automatically updated. Both methods works in any view ( CHO / Objects / Action )

well.... finally I have my desktop again.. a powerful one ...so I'm back to the project. I believe that the seq01/scene01 is done ... fastAO from jenpy is rendering fine in 64bits now.. I'm impressed how fast it is. I got 6 sec/frame in this scene ( HD total 17min / 151 frames ) Check it in HD ( TDP2020 Youtube ) the cloudes were created in A:M and rendered separately then I used the image as rotoscope. C&C are welcome ( if you can comment on youtube channel )

I'm using 1.02 I checked now and I'm outdated ( 1.03 is the last update )... and you are right ... jenpy said to use 1,3,5 passes ...I forgot this detail thanks Robert .... I didn't know about this bug. Did you test new 64bit version 1.03 ? I'm posting from my mobile... tomorrow I'll back to my desktop and install 32bit and try it again

this opens new horizons ... a new splash screen is different than a new mascot, isn't it? I mean, a mascot can be a splash screen ...but every splash screen isn't necessarily a mascot..... and we are talking about a Mascot Contest... then .... Are we changing the course of the contest for a Splash Screen Contest ?

Hi guys .... I bought the amazing Jenpy's Fake/Fast AO too, but I can't put it to work.. A:M is crashing when it's being aplied ( after softening pass ).. If I model a simple ball it renders correctly ... but A:M crashs using complex objects ( characters, cars...etc...etc ) Windows 7 64 bits A:M v16 beta 5 / 64 bits check the video... Last year I decided that the investment in tools for 3D design would be paid through funds obtained through 3D work .... I did some contracts that guaranteed the purchase of some hardware ( bamboo )/ software ( A:M Paint, A:M Track 2, ToonBoom storyboard ). But now the fund is over, aiming at the TDP 2020 project I still have some shopping to be done (- One year subscription / - Jenpy plugin ). Almost everything I know about A:M I learned here in this forum, and to give back many years and years of advice and guidance, I decided to make available for free all car models that I made during these years together with you. if you think I deserve it, make a donation of any amount in my PayPal account and help me continue with my projects. As you know, I am without my desktop so without access to the A:M. The available models were in a backup, so it is possible some of them come without some materials or decals. let me know. Q1 -generally I use only one camera in choreography... then I use Interpolation methods to manipulate it. - unhide Timeline ( VIEW -> Timeline ) - manipulate the camera in the Choreography - select CAMERA ( PWS ) - select all frames in TIMELINE - right click then choose INTERPLOLATION METHOD -> HOLD this way the camera will "jump" suddenly from position to another

this happens with all newbie ..... ... leaving jokes aside, have you tried to render it as an individual model ? Can you make problematic model available for download ? EDIT : I remember now ... I had the same problem when I rendered a model that had one of its cp's hidden

Thanks Stian .... In the action ( of course ) I separated the bodywork side and then the roof and hood, then applied a single decal on them separately. I also had to increase the value/scale of the roughness (bodywork) . In the camera I used a default film grain ( Post Effect ). After rendered I applied some filters in Photo Paint to "warm" the color in the image then I worked in the shadows to balance lighting. only that simple and efficient... EDITED : I forgot to mention that I used a sun light ( DIFUSE = OFF / SPECULARITY = ON ) and increased specularity ( S=1000 / I=600 ) in the bodywork to match the bus specularity

HDRI would be great in this scene ... to be reflected in the waterdrops ....
