  1. A gradient will get you the same look and will be quicker to preview, IMO.
  2. I thin that is the best solution, you could rig it with a pose slider to control the size of the opening. If you want a soft edge to the iris, a spherical gradient combiner could be applied to it.
  3. Sorry , I thought the problem was that this one stopped working again. Looks like what you need to do is send the whole thing to Nancy, let her open it once, then you'll be good to go! None-the-less, it's good to hear you had success with your book trailer!
  4. Here I am opening the unaltered PRJ and it works fine immediately... RustysConstraints.mov
  5. Thanks Gerald! The temptation to get a 3D printer is enormous.
  6. It's a curious circumstance. Everything was embedded in the PRJ you sent us but it worked as expected.
  7. I swear all i did was open the PRJ you sent and then tried to find what was wrong but I never found what was wrong because it was working.
  8. the torso targeting is the one that was clearly targeting the wrong thing. In TSM2 the torso control has no geometry solidly attached to it, it only influences the end of the spine
  9. A fine horde!
  10. - if they were the same rig then you could just reuse the animation from one on the other without having to use any constraints. -It's really clear to me that even when the constraints are working, the wrong bone is being targeted. Are we sure that that is not what you are seeing and not a failure of the constraints?
  11. the master0.lic file from your old installation folder is what I'm really hoping you saved so you can just copy it into your new folder. barring that... did you go to the Hash Store? http://www.hash.com/store/
  12. I wonder what the Joan Collins puppet will look like.
  13. I can almost see a cleft chin in Rodney's drawing.
  14. Are both characters rigged the same?
  15. I know Nancy is on 32-bit, but I'm on 64. Mark, I'm not sure.
  16. UPDATE: as of July 25, 2016... the price keeps changing. Keep your eye open for deals. Amazon is offering all six "Golden" collections for $65 $48.49 24 DVDs Until midnight tonight only. For how long I don't know. Looney Tunes Golden Collections
  17. Here is a simple example GrowingGlow.prj The tut in TAoA:M where you make a marble material shows how to use combiners. Another possibility is to use a "Material Effector"
  18. I wonder why 50% is not the default. Can anyone contrive a case where 50% is bad?
  19. The spherical color combiner can be animated to change the size of its rings. you will need to turn on "show more than drivers" to see the material parameters in the chor.
  20. I'm also not clear on why you need to constrain one character in place of another. There's got to be a simpler way to get this done.
  21. I'm still not clear on what you are doing differently that makes it not work for you but still work for me.
  22. Take a deep breath... and let Mark help you.

I've done a few tests with simple moving objects and multipass and can't get the ghost image you had. Multipass seems to be choosing its frames correctly. Perhaps something else is going wrong with your render.
