Um, how long did it take you to make that???? It was pretty good! Mike Fitz www.3dartz.com

Spidey is looking pretty lean! Nice! If I had to make a crit, the only thing I could think to say is that abs detail on real people usually has the right side slightly higher then the left side of muscle.

Wow! Very good! Thank you for sharing the progress of the model Mike Fitz www.3dartz.com

I like it. If you are going to keep the reflection on the floor, how about some fall off to it, so it doesn't look 100 percent like a mirror.... Nice. Mike Fitz www.3dartz.com

I'm pulling for you mage, but don't worry, I'll let you know how you do:)

Cristobal Villa of EI fame.... made this car and render. And son, you're gonna have to clock a lot more time on the planet before you best his renders:) http://www.etereaestudios.com/index.html Mike Fitz www.3dartz.com

Not bad. I certainly don't think that you are pushing A:M's limits. Looks more like you are furthering your own ability. Mike Fitz www.3dartz.com

Hmmm, what did you change? I think that the first imag on this page was much better for the style you were making... now it looks more normal, but with a big nose.... I say go back. Mike Fitz www.3dartz.com

Well, if the dino is covered in "pre-feather" material.... you probably wouldn'tbe able to see ribs.... but it does look a touch flat in the rib area now that Gazz pointed that area out... Mike Fitz www.3dartz.com

So Good!!! Mike Fitz www.3dartz.com

You definately could cut back on a lot of the splines. Nice model over all though.... Mike Fitz www.3dartz.com

Moving bones in [Skeletal] Choreography...
3DArtZ replied to Kelley's topic in Work In Progress / Sweatbox
If you're animating this in the choreography, along with your 3 action files... you should create a new "cho action" that is set to begin at the frame you want it to begin at. All of this would be found, after you create a new "cho action" in the project workspace window if you have the cho action selected. Mike Fitz www.3dartz.com -
MORE THAN MEETS THE EYE:) That was great! Mike Fitz www.3dartz.com

I would invert the decal so that the details raise up out of the ground and the impact area from where the ball lands goes into the ground.
-
Why would you not be able to show this? if you have models that look like that "type" of character, you can do whatever you want. ie.... anyone is free to create a humanoid robot that kills people. just don't call it the terminator. But all that being said, you've been thinking about this project for a couple weeks????? come back in a couple years when it's been ironed out. This would be a pretty large undertaking....
-
Looks great from the side.... however, I don't like that 3pt patch you have, or at least what looks to be a 3pt patch by the back wheel area. Youd be better off running another spline around the wheel fender for avoid any rendering artifacts... But overall, very nice repro sofar of a pretty sharp car design... Mike Fitz www.3dartz.com

Oh my!!! That is one kick arse model you've got going. The contest could be "flowers" and you'd win. Just keep it until you can get to it. You owe it to us to finish this incredible model!!!! edit here... activision would probably give you a job if you showed them a finished model.... Mike Fitz www.3dartz.com

Looks even better now! Mike Fitz www.3dartz.com

I think that for what this excecise is, it works really well. The straight path comments and flight speed arent really necessary or helpful in this case, but you have to expect to get that stuff. The impact and how he reacted was the meat and potatoes here.... But for what its worth, it looks to me like he's one of them superhero's who don't know how to fly yet:) Mike Fitz www.3dartz.com

To save you a bit of a headache.... expect to delete splinage after you've modeled most of the car. That way you can build to match the shape/rotos without going crazy. Also, I'm not sure what you ment before, but this car was not constructed of one solid piece. It was built section by section. So certianly dont try and build this as one mesh. Ahh, Nixus from the great Cristobal Villa of EI fame..... This will certianly be an interesting project for A:M's modeller. Keep us posted! Mike Fitz www.3dartz.com

take it easy cheezey, I'm sure no one wants to see an exact reproduction, or expects one....
-
how are you naming your files? I think if you go with "1.tga, 2.tga...." you will have a problem when importing. anyone else have info on this....

Looking real good! Mike Fitz www.3dartz.com

That is one great looking model. Nice work! Um, is this model and actual human under the armor? if so, what's his deal? that would figure into the best name to give him/her? Mike Fitz www.3dartz.com
