  1. Bruce, did you put this up on youtube? you gotta do it, to see what the view count is! Mike Fitz www.3dartz.com
  2. Yes, I totally agree. I figured you'd already have it up on youtube You'll get a boatload of views I bet.... maybe it'll even get shown on a newscast or something with the latest info about how the people who recorded the video got arrested/investigated.
  3. Yeah Bruce... cmon. this didn't particularly generate any emotion from me other than, urgh, that was a waste of time. sorry. Mike Fitz www.3dartz.com
  4. It looks ok. a bit sloppy mesh wise, even though its low spline count. Did you build the mesh or did you edit the import? Mike Fitz www.3dartz.com
  5. that was a great little car animation! the car looks like you've modeled it pretty well. Looking foward to more! Mike Fitz www.3dartz.com
  6. Nice work! It looks great in the pdf document. Mike Fitz www.3dartz.com
  7. Hey that was pretty cool. What did you use for motion blur? It didn't look like multipass and didn't look like the other blur either.... sort of a mix between the two. Mike Fitz www.3dartz.com
  8. I think it might be hard for someone to track down what you may have screwed up in the rig....but I will say that the 2001 rig is a bit complex and not exactly necessary to be so. If you go to my web site there is a section about installing a stripped down version of the 2001 rig that you may find easier to install and use. www.3dartz.com Mike Fitz www.3dartz.com
  9. those are some pretty crazy fight scenes!!! Mike Fitz www.3dartz.com
  10. they look great! Nice work. Have fun crashing them up! Mike Fitz www.3dartz.com
  11. Hey Traj, thanks for the comments. I did a small amount of edits to the clip, like trying to make the head snap upon fist contact a bit more and bounced the shoulders a bit, even though it's not exactly the bounce change I know it should have been. But this is certainly kinda fun working through the clip. about 1.7megs... http://www.vrcops.com/vids/BoxerType4.mov
  12. Not overlooking the obvious issues, but just have not had a chance to change anything, I did a quick render of the fall back section from a differnet angle. I think angles have to play a huge role in making fight scenes interesting to watch. Even though I didn't fix the problems, jumping to a new camera angle, I feel sort of makes is a better viewing experience.... just thinking out loud here:) about 1.7megs http://www.vrcops.com/Vids/BoxerType2A.mov
  13. Hey Gazz, thanks for the reply. Footwork, definate. I think when I was trying a punch scene in the mirror I did not realize that if I were actually facing off withsomeone my body location would certainly be moving, even if slightly. Noted! Thanks! Mike Fitz www.3dartz.com
  14. Hey guys, so eventually I want to make an action type short animation with the models I've made and I figure I have to get good at action type animation between 2 or more characters. Well, I couldn't sleep last night so I figured I'd burn off the energy by getting started on some excersizes. I'm certainly in no way happy about the outcome, but I figure I'd share as I always seem to get some good feedback from everyone here. What I did, in a nutshell, I created a bouncing fighter stance for each character and then cycled it until the punches start getting thrown. I noticed during animation that it is sort of tuff to show the effects of quick little actions like a fast punch, I guess over exaggeration is the key here..... maybe in the wind up of the punch and the reaction of the recipient. Anyway, its the first attempt. I most likely will try a different action next, but I'd like to head into it with some more info.... [attachmentid=22461] about 650kb... http://www.vrcops.com/vids/BoxerType.mov
  15. Your stock is rising Mr.Harrowell!!!! Will this work for any rig or just the squetch rig? Mike Fitz www.3dartz.com
  16. Hey guys, I just rerigged a character a made a couple years ago. Most of the changes I made to my rig are in the shoulder and torso and I'm definately looking foward to doing some more animation with her! Take a look if you get a chance, [attachmentid=22373] http://www.vrcops.com/Vids/SisSpinA.mov Thanks Mike Fitz www.3dartz.com
  17. Hey Thanks guys! Maybe a cannonball for the next one:) Mike Fitz www.3dartz.com
  18. Hey Nice model. I think its on OK start. the steps are too short and choppy. Also, try working the dogs paws into this more. the have ankles that bend too. I've never tried to animate a dogs walk cycle, but I think thier walk is more fluid and timed close to front left/back right, front right/back left either in the air at the same time or on the ground at the same time.... Mike Fitz www.3dartz.com
  19. Hey Gerry, thanks for the comments, the green thing is just a prop. I was going to try and make it look filled with water and put a splash thing in there....but well, its just a green thing now:) Robert, thanks for the positive review!!! I know you don't just hand them out! I see what you are saying about him being fully extended by the last frame his feet are on the ground..... you're right. The only question is can I go back and do it without messing up my keys.... thanks Dhar! Mike Fitz www.3dartz.com
  20. Hey guys, well it's been a while since I put myself through a speed test. Since I have this new character to mess around with, I thought I'd put something together. I literally put this together in 20.min. I used a run cycle that I previously made, put a path in, then animated the dive in the cho. window. Don't know if there is anything more I will do to it, even though I know there's all sorts of stuff to adjust..... [attachmentid=22311] About 600kb (edited size) http://www.vrcops.com/Vids/RunDiver.mov Mike Fitz www.3dartz.com
  21. Hey guys, thanks for checking it out! Don't know where/when he'll make his debut...... Mike Fitz www.3dartz.com
  22. Wow, very cool! So what resolution did you have to render it out at. Seems like a great market if one could sink thier teeth into it. Mike Fitz www.3dartz.com
  23. Hey guys, thanks for the comments and checking it out! The eyeballs/pupils thing bothers me too, but it was in the design of the character.... This was for a paid job and I had no real say on the eyeballs.... Mike Fitz www.3dartz.com
  24. Hey guys, I just finished modeling and rigging this character. To test the rig out I put together a quick run cycle. Rendered @16 pases and moblur. [attachmentid=22278] http://www.vrcops.com/vids/Runit.mov
  25. Nice:) Mike Fitz www.3dartz.com
