  1. did you animate this or was it motion capture? cool looking for sure!
  2. Looks great! 4 parking spots might not be enough:)
  3. Why dont you just do this afterwards? do you have quicktime pro? if so you can load the qt animation and export and in the features of the export you will find options for this. Mike Fitz www.3dartz.com

what if the feathes gradually dissapeared by the time they get down to the hands... It might help the feather look. Either way, very cool! Mike Fitz www.3dartz.com
  5. I'm just responding about the wheele, even though you might have already moved on... I think that it looks really good. The only way I can think to simplify it would be to have the wheele in 2 pices. One would be just a cylinder, then another that has that wave detail. You would be able to use different mesh resolution for each. fewer for the inner round wheele and more for the outer waved wheele. Mike Fitz www.3dartz.com
  6. that was cool! Cant wait to see what you've got next!
  7. Wow that was really good. I mean it looks so effortless. my crit: when he backing up holding on the upright poles, his back is straight, I feel like it would be better if he was sort of bent over a bit so it looks like he is pulling something. But really over all this was great!!!
  8. Hmm, I think it looks like he's raising his hand in victory, but at the same time he's got to go take a #2, if you know what I mean:) In a victory pose like that, He probably would be raising his fist high in the sky, and his body language should all be on the same page. His legs straight, no bend at the knees. His hips directly on top of his stance and torso stretching upwards. what do you think?
  9. I like it too! However, you could do this with fewer splines and might want to go back and remove some of them.
  10. Looks good. Try to reduce the number of splines, especially in the head. Mike Fitz www.3dartz.com
  11. most likely your normals are point in the wrong direction. They have to be pointing in the same direction (outward) and you won't get the rendering artifacts. great looking model! Mike Fitz www.3dartz.com
  12. Pretty cool dudes... Mike Fitz www.3dartz.com

Horrible. just totally and completely horrible:) you know I'm kidding. Great stuff! Mike Fitz www.3dartz.com
  14. That was a good one! Mike Fitz www.3dartz.com
  15. Straight horizontal and vertical. I would have no diagnolly running splines at all. I will try to find a picture from my tutorial to post. found one, the front splines are probably too curved for my taste today. But I time I thought it looked like it flowed nicely. You dont have to do it that way, but I find that it helps keep things managable and while the way you have it, the mesh is elegant and pretty, but in my rig it does not contribute to good deformations. But you can certainly work out a system that does work with your mesh layout.
  16. Looks good to me. I probably would run more horizontal splines in th hips then how you have them but that is due to how I set up the bones in rig on my models hips.
  17. A shaded wirefram would be helpful too. Looks pretty good to me though. Mike Fitz www.3dartz.com
  18. In my own experience and as far as I know it does speed up rendering. If its not active, its not there.
  19. Looks really great so far! Keep us posted! Mike Fitz www.3dartz.com
  20. They have that. My brother has this shotgun, I'll find out the name. It basically negates the recoil into spings in but of the gun. It looks very much like the guns the soldiers had in Aliens.
  21. All I have to say is I was always a big fan of Rodan! And the Robot that could grow! forgot his name....
  22. I agree. The lipsynch looks pretty good to me but the body animation is a little crazy like.... I would say, act out the movemnets yourself, then only use about half of what you did in the mirror in your animation.
  23. I think shutting down the oil industry would crush the economy and then we'd really be heading into a (we are probably already there) recession..... Think about how many jobs would dissappear. Crazy, almost seems like our economy is oil, doesn't it?
  24. Wowsers! Great looking stuff! Mike Fitz www.3dartz.com
