  1. Don't forget the softness within the shadow options of the light.
  2. Nope..is it a vacum cleaner?
  3. It's probably too late, but I'd like to see a little hint of "God Lines".
  4. I'd say you need to increase the softness of your volumetric lights. Also, try using multipass rendering.
  5. Fronter on CGT.com?
  6. Yes! Fog! It's built into the renderer, but I've never tried it. Looking good. I think you need at least 25 passes for good DoF.
  7. Nice! I look forward to seeing what you can do with AM today!
  8. Eh!?! Is that supposed to happen while looking at those!? Her eyes seem a little starey in the first one but everything else is fine....just fine.
  9. I think it would be good to have a really famous painting (eg Mona Lisa) but it's turned upside down because people in this art gallery like it better that way.
  10. Yeah Squiggles have rights too! Let her live! Let her live! At least show a doctor coming in and resusitating her! Nice "artsey" animation.
  11. Whaaa! Me wanna see!
  12. I've just compiled an animation with sound in AM and it doesn't have any chirps. But I did have to trim a few of the sounds as they had extra waves in them that other players ignored. Maybe that's the problem? Sorensen is built into AM. Just go to quicktime in the render settings and look in it's settings. In there you'll see at the top a drop down menu and the codec is there. As others have said, it's an excellent codec.
  13. The distance between the top of the eyes and the bottom of the bone seems too much. But again, it might be what you're aiming for.
  14. I agree. The width of the head seems right, so it might just be a matter of detailing the bone. Also, I'm sure I saw one or two splines around the eye that weren't necessary at both ends....hooks could be used.
  15. Nice start. Wires would be good to see.
  16. That image should be stamped in the manual.
  17. Nice! I particularly like the fly robot.
  18. No they'll get narrower. They look right to me. Nice work!
  19. Looks great! Keep us updated on your progress....
  20. Beautiful design. You've got a style all of your own. I'm dying to see why the robot only has one arm!
  21. Man, he's just a WOOKIE. You're expecting far too much. He's probably never even heard of the moon.....maybe EndorWalk.
  22. Without setting up the mocap to suit the character this is true. IE the proportions should be "recalculated" to account for the bigger head etc. Then there are weight issues. Ah well....it gives a good starting point. But you know all about it anyway.
  23. LOL! Make it bigger, fix the intersecting, animate the face/hands and assuming there's not legal issues, you should post that on CG*alk.
  24. We'd need wireframes to show you, but generally limbs are attached using 5 point patches. Check out the characters on the cd for examples.
  25. Nice work. The wings are particularly good.
