    Feet curl up.

Hey...nice pickup. Maybe you could inform the Hash guys on the AM:Reports site if you get a chance.
  2. It looks like you could just make the seal in 3D and place it in by eye. It's hard to tell.
  3. I noticed on one of the real car images that there was a fuel cap but I don't think there's one on yours. Also, for the headlamps, I think they might just need rubber sealer round them to complete the effect.
  4. Woowh! Nice movie. You don't need to use the other forum much to post. It'd be good press for AM if nothing else. One thing that bugs me is the mirrors and how they're not part of the body. Maybe that's the design, I don't know. But if you want to do that, you can do it with four five point patches round a cp on the body. Doing that doesn't cause creasing. PS Another thing might be the thickness of the glass in the front lights. They just seem to be thin. Maybe abit more refraction would rectify it.
  5. Hey...how about posting that on the CGTalk forum? See if you get onto the front page! Also, if you want to show wireframe shots it'd be great.
  6. Mmmm....she's a beaut. You've really nailed the mechanical modeling in AM.

    Feet curl up.

Hmmm....this seems to be happening alot. What version of AM are you using?
  8. Are you using Direct3D? Mine is always like that so I use Opengl.
  9. Nice original use of the screen. I'm unsure of what it's all about though.
  10. It's almost too fast for a run. On a (normal) character the upper body is used more to add to the momentum. And don't forget, both feet come off the ground at the same time (for a split second).
  11. Pretty darn good. What is it?
  12. Shaggy never looked so good! I also notice the skirt hasn't got a shadow.
  13. I guess someone just got his new cd! I'm going to have to do it now soon as I didn't know about some of those models.
  14. Very original colouring! Is that all decals? There's something in his design that doesn't look natural. Maybe the eye area....can't put my finger on it. But it'd just be a matter of tweaking. Are you working off a sketch or making him as you go?
  15. Your best bet is to apply any old image to a simple shape and then try to recall it. If it works, then it's something you've done in your method if not, it's a bug and send it in to AM:Reports. I think it might be the latter, but I haven't been decaling much lately with v11.1d.
  16. Thanks Georg...I may tweak the ear and post it later.
  17. OK I get it better now. You have a camera in all character models and you can switch between them all to get reaction shots of the characters. I like the swing down from over the Balrog! I was thinking about using it for animating the characters in the chor....when you need to be head on to them but they're not in line with the global views. I guess that could work too.
  18. See an answer in the rigging forum.
  19. Oh well now that's possibly the best ear I've seen in AM. No point in starting it now! If you want to post it here it would be great. Aha! But it doesn't look like there's an earhole! So, I might do one yet.
  20. Great! I instantly thought Aardman too. I think the cow hooves have too much of a gap though.
  21. It's going to be a class contest this month. I love these dragons too. Wonder who made them? http://www.hash.com/stills/displayimage.php?album=1&pos=-294
  22. And the model: Toe.mdl
  23. Here's a semi-realistic toe I've made. It's nail even grows realistically. If you have/think you can do better, then post it in here. But I doubt you can. I'm off to bask in my glory and make the ultimate ear.
  24. Strange. It looks like 3 or 4 beams don't have anti-aliasing. You quite sure that all the settings are the same....even the light they're linked to? Also, did you render this on the screen or render to file. I think the former can give variable results. Also, render with multipass.
  25. IMO it's impossible to totally sum someone up from what they write on a forum. In fact it's sometimes possible to get the total wrong impression....if they don't use smilies/have a strange sense of humour/etc etc.
