  1. Oooo....that's real nice! Perfect for the Mummy epic I'm planning!
  2. I think it's just a matter of practice. Once you're more familiar with modeling in AM, you'll probably not need the poly modeler anymore. That's not to say import/export isn't useful. Good luck and don't stay away too long. Edit: Hopefully the edit means you've calmed down.
  3. Cool. Yeah I've tried my hand at sculptuing ape faces and trying to make it into a puppet thing. I wasn't very good at it heh. I prefer making things in AM even if you can't touch them.....they look cooler and you can do more things with them. My dream would be to use AM in the effects for a movie. BTW, someone else made a terminator in AM a while back.
  4. Mechanical Dragon? Cool! Yet weird! Did you make it for a puppet show or something?
  5. Cool. Can you make him a different colour? Cos the other one's green too.
  6. Is that the same guy, just with a helmet on? Yes I think the yellow is too bright...you'd spot him a mile away if he's trying to be stealthy.
  7. I think it looks Da Bomb! Maybe some struts linking it's guns to the fuselage would make it more sturdy looking?
  8. I wouldn't give up trying to salvage the project so easy. Support might be able to help.
  9. Welcom to the software! You sound abit mad watching all those videos, but you should be right at home here! The car looks great.....better than I could do at that stage. I see great works in your future.
  10. Oh....evil looking. He could fight the other dragon!
  11. Of course! The glass looks great too.
  12. Ah....much better downloading. The fur isn't that bad. Just mainly round the cat mussles seems to be the most balding.
  13. LOL What a hoot! Some of them look abit threadbare. The image took forever to download!
  14. Yes, this is a good place to post this. I originally didn't look in here as I thought you had lots of help with 3 replys You're probably best to constrain the bullet (translate to and orient like) to the gun in the pose. Then you can animate the enforcement to 0% when the bullet is out. To post a project, just right click the project name and select "embed all".
  15. Just to clarify my previous worries.....putting a phallus into a topic entitled "God" is just asking for an argument as it's quite an evocative image. If he was making a naked guy...no problem. I briefly read somewhere about the Americans not caring about seeing a naked woman....em.....what about the Janet Jackson Incident last year? Us Europeans still don't know what that was all about.
  16. Oooo nice detail. For minimum distortion you would flatten each side (of 8) individually and add them to the uv map as 8 pieces. You could do it in two pieces as you say, but you could also do it in one by looking at it from above. you would have to spread out the cps by eye before you flatten them. As far as I know, the flatten "tool" doesn't do that for you.
  17. Those curved splines should continue on and end on the flat part. Right now they seem to stop dead.
  18. Can you link that to a button? It's looking mighty fine as it is and I can't wait till it's textured....
  19. Perhaps instead of meditating, you should simply look up the definition of "Work In Progress" which is the subject of this forum. No offence man, but you're heading on a one way trip to a suspension....especially with that "Phallus in a manger" image.
  20. Are you looking for a banning?
  21. So, it's all fixed now? I don't need to look at the file so....
  22. Now you're talking. You're in muscle mode instead of director mode. Select the blue megaphone icon in the top toolbar.
  23. Can't put a cause on it....maybe if there was a project to play round with I might hit on something.
  24. I fixed the speed by changing the cycle length of the walk action. There are other issues with the walk, but I'll let you raise them if you think they are issues at all. Rebel.zip
  25. How does it look on just one patch? I think this might be one to send to AM:Reports.
