Newbert: Bevels are where the corners are rounded off. So, in AM, you would need to have a spline on either side of the corner spline. Bevels are similar to chamfers which are flat at the 45 degree angle on the corner.
That's great. I can imagine some really fine bump and displacement maps that would really push him to the limit of achieving reality. If that was the look you want of course.
I think in The Incredibles, they made "pose sliders" for each attribute(big nose/big head/fat/ etc etc) and just played round with them to make hundreds of extras.
I seem to remember a certain Mr Freeman considering such a task.
