  1. I only spent about fifteen minutes on it, so it's not perfect in any way, but, here's an example of a segmented knee that only uses a thigh, calf and a standard knee fan bone which have some CP Weighting on them. Of course, everything about this leg could be done a lot better, but I think it illustrates that you could probably get what you're after using CP Weighting, Marcos. However, if the fan bones you are presently using are doing what you want, you could go that route as well. Hope that helps. segmented_knee.mov
  2. I don't think it would make it more complicated unless there is something special Marcos wants the separate pieces of geometry to do...which might be the case.
  3. I think he looks cool this way as well, Marcos!
  4. Great stuff, Robert!
  5. Looks great, Paul!
  6. Happy Birthday, Luuk!
  7. Happy Birthday, Paul!
  8. Looks great, Ken!
  9. It took a lot longer than I planned, but, I finished a tutorial on making a scalene arm rig....it is posted here. Now, I'm going to have to concentrate on nothing but modeling for a couple of weeks in an effort to meet my personal deadline on getting the two sets ready for texturing.
  10. Looks great, Marcos!
  11. Looks great, Mark!
  12. Congrats and good luck, Tore!
  13. If anyone can make it happen, it'll be you, Mark.
  14. Great stuff, guys! Looks very useful.
  15. I have v6 somewhere...I'll have to dig for it. I think it is actually v6.1L. --------------------- EDIT --------------------- Nope, I just remembered, that license got transferred when I realized I had two, so I don't have it now.
  16. I'm lovin' it, Mark! It looks like you're having fun. Also, kudos to Mark Skodacek for the Ocean Rig!
  17. Great stuff, Matt!
  18. Great stuff, Stian!
  19. Looks great, Steve!
  20. I posted the test version of Squetchy Sam with the possible additional face controls here. If you have time to test him and provide feedback, I would appreciate it. Next, back to a tutorial I was working on.
  21. Here's a test version of Squetchy Sam with an added FACE controls setup for more on-face-type control instead of a floating interface. I also made a very quick bare-bones video of what things do that I'll post here. If anyone has time to check it out and give me an idea of whether or not this is worth adding, I'd appreciate it. I had another idea for an addition that ended up being not worth the effort, so I dropped it. The only things I have that I know I'm going to add are the gut rig and a better tail...but those can happen after I get the installation tutorials done. ------------------- EDIT ------------------- The test version of Squetchy Sam was deleted because there is an update in the next post...the video showing the on-face controls is still here. face_controls_test_06_02_2011.mov
  22. A little more progress, I modeled and rigged three sets of light switches...the break room will use the three switch one. Now I'm going to see if I can get some work on the face rig done.
