  1. Happy Birthday, Paul!
  2. Looks great, Ken!
  3. It took a lot longer than I planned, but, I finished a tutorial on making a scalene arm rig....it is posted here. Now, I'm going to have to concentrate on nothing but modeling for a couple of weeks in an effort to meet my personal deadline on getting the two sets ready for texturing.
  4. Looks great, Marcos!
  5. Looks great, Mark!
  6. Congrats and good luck, Tore!
  7. If anyone can make it happen, it'll be you, Mark.
  8. Great stuff, guys! Looks very useful.
  9. I have v6 somewhere...I'll have to dig for it. I think it is actually v6.1L. --------------------- EDIT --------------------- Nope, I just remembered, that license got transferred when I realized I had two, so I don't have it now.
  10. I'm lovin' it, Mark! It looks like you're having fun. Also, kudos to Mark Skodacek for the Ocean Rig!
  11. Great stuff, Matt!
  12. Great stuff, Stian!
  13. Looks great, Steve!
  14. I posted the test version of Squetchy Sam with the possible additional face controls here. If you have time to test him and provide feedback, I would appreciate it. Next, back to a tutorial I was working on.
  15. Here's a test version of Squetchy Sam with an added FACE controls setup for more on-face-type control instead of a floating interface. I also made a very quick bare-bones video of what things do that I'll post here. If anyone has time to check it out and give me an idea of whether or not this is worth adding, I'd appreciate it. I had another idea for an addition that ended up being not worth the effort, so I dropped it. The only things I have that I know I'm going to add are the gut rig and a better tail...but those can happen after I get the installation tutorials done. ------------------- EDIT ------------------- The test version of Squetchy Sam was deleted because there is an update in the next post...the video showing the on-face controls is still here. face_controls_test_06_02_2011.mov
  16. A little more progress, I modeled and rigged three sets of light switches...the break room will use the three switch one. Now I'm going to see if I can get some work on the face rig done.
  17. Damn! Better and better, Jirard! He's going to be fantastic.
  18. I hope so, Robert. Unfortunately, these are the best I'm able to do...although I'm getting a little better as I go along. I'm shooting for a "cartoon real"...I think I can get that if I put the work in.
  19. Great stuff, Mark!
  20. I'm surprised as well...great catch, Mark!
  21. Happy Birthday, Stian!
  22. I decided to change the doorstop to a magnetic one (several reasons for the change) and I modeled the first-aid kit for the break room. Still a lot to do and my self-imposed deadline for getting the sets modeled is fast approaching...I want to texture and light the sets in early July. I've done some work on the face rig in the Squetch Rig...I'll probably be posting a test version of Squetchy Sam sometime this week, if all goes well. The first of the two tutorials I'm working on looks like it won't fit the criteria for a "QuickStart" tutorial...I don't think there's any way to make it under five minutes. So, that one will end up being longer than I had initially planned.
  23. If there's an issue with the character, I don't see it. Looks great, Marcos! Great design and style.
  24. Great stuff, Tore!
