TheSpleen
Here is a trick I have learned: When setting up a set....like say the throne room. Sometimes a wall or object will come in the way of a great camera angle. So any wall/object/prop that might hinder a camera angle what I do is create a pose slider for that particular object and call it "Squish" What it does is squish the object all the way to the floor, and after the shot is complete I can unsquish it. Dunno if this is common or not but thought I would share this idea. Gene
MJL
I absolutely LOVE the eyes on the pyramid!

Dunno if this is common or not but thought I would share this idea. Gene That's a unique way to do it! There are a couple of other ways to do this: One is to have the different parts of a set be individual models that are then assembled in the Choreography. That way you can turn off their visibility or make them inactive when you need to. Another way is to hide them in the open model window. Open the model file and select the piece that you want to hide, use the "/" key to select all of it, then use the "." key to switch the selection to everything else and then use the "h" key to hide the piece. It's still there, of course, but it will be invisible in the chor. You can't save the model with that information, though. So you need to render at the same time (or repeat the process when it comes time to render.)

NancyGormezano
OMG - We're all gonna die, we're all gonna die!!! Great effect ! (talk about global warming) - Love it. Would work also for a comet ball. Wonder if you could get it to have more spike-ier looking solar flare type rays ? But really not necessary, as it definitely communicates "HOT DESERT SUN"
Paul Forwood
That looks like a great, angry fireball but try changing the direction of your lighting so that the shadows look like they are cast from the sun and animate the intensity to match the pulse from the light source. That would help the illusion. This looks like it is going to be another step up from your previous work.
TheSpleen
Yes I noticed the shadow too but was more worried about how the sun looked. I agree the shadows need to match.
