John Bigboote Posted July 22, 2009 Posted July 22, 2009 Reminds me of an ear doctor I went to last summer for what I thought was an ear infection...'swimmers ear'. This guy took one look and said 'It's NOT swimmers ear... your hearing has gone bad...happens at your age.' and then went about selling me on expensive hearing aids. I had noticed on the way in that they offered 'FREE HEARING CHECKUPS' so I asked if I could get my hearing checked by another doctor. They put me in a booth with headphones and played sonic blips etc and discovered my hearing was FINE. The doctor was very disappointed at this and took another look in my ear and discovered...'oh- it's infected.' His alterior motive could not have been less obvious. GREAT MODELLING! Quote
