MJL
Lotta character in that one, Gene. Could be a 50's crooner.
Hash Fellow robcat2075 Posted July 2, 2009 Hash Fellow Share Posted July 2, 2009 Great character. I think you should resolve to properly attach the ears on him.

frosteternal
Nice one, your splines are all flow-y and stuff now =) Now maybe Nancy & I won't harass you about spline flow. Well, sometimes.

Hash Fellow robcat2075 Posted July 3, 2009 Hash Fellow Share Posted July 3, 2009 That lighting looks much improved. You still have some creases on his face that shouldn't need to be there.
jakerupert
I see you experimented sucssesfully with Nancys tips on ligthing. Looking great. Can you clarify what`s all in there?
TheSpleen
I see you experimented sucssesfully with Nancys tips on ligthing. Looking great. Can you clarify what`s all in there? to be honest I took out and put in and tweeked so much I no longer have any idea LOL I tried em all. I have lightened the scene a bit more but retained the shadows.
Gerry
this one looks pretty dark. I know there were some issues with the lighting on "TTR" but that looked fine to me. Most of this image disappears into the shadows.
Paul Forwood
You continue to make steady progress, Gene. Well done! You could get rid of those creases in the face with very little work. Get rid of any hooks or deadend splines in areas that will be animated and then weight the CPs around the mouth so that nothing is left static. agep
Yeah, nice progress. Your last render have an atmosphere that I like very much
TheSpleen
would anyone by chance have a cockroach model? I can make one but thought maybe there is one out there. Also anyone have a model of the A:M box? I will slip that in the video too.
Admin Rodney Posted July 4, 2009 Admin Share Posted July 4, 2009 Impressive Gene! With you moving into texturing and lighting you`ll soon be the next best thing to unstoppable. Keep up the great work.
NancyGormezano
Very interesting scene, well done. I like the more lit version better - but it all depends on the animation and what you're going to do with it A cockroach would scurry when the lights go on - unless he/she's watching tv alongside your main character. TheSpleen
I really could use the decals for modeling the A:M box. I dont have a scanner at the moment and wanna put the box into the scene. And looking back on reading this whole topic again.......... Yall must think I am one odd cookie! LOL

TheSpleen
I added Myron's acoustic guitar model. (I do know the shirt is showing through) The rat is back again down by his foot. the roach drummer is in front of the aquarium. looks like this may just be a song for the ages.
