  1. Oh wow, David!! The wait is worth it. very nice!!!
  2. I installed the j version and I get errors for installation as all the procedures, hxt and pathways can not be found once I run the program.
  3. Very cool. Great mesh I am revisiting my trees I created a few years ago. I looked at how the trees were created in TWO. The effects were great and the used emitters in several location with very low density to achieve great results.
  4. Hi Paul It is said great minds think alike... well guess what I have a working caveman suit with hair driven by a decal much like you have shown. I would be willing to help if you are interested Steve
  5. Weird I had posted a response and do not see it sorry. I had to go into the Window's sound mixer while AM was loaded and made sure the AM connection was enabled and the sound was turned up.
  6. I encountered this a year or so ago. Chris / mouseman, helped me get the settings corrected. I will be talking with him tomorrow and I will see if he remembers what we did. I will be back.
  7. Hi David Awesome work. You accomplished what very few of us do, so congratulations! Thank you for sharing the videos. What Robert and Chris have said are wonderful ideas of animation insights, I looked at more of how to light and the technical side. Your models were nicely done. What rig did you use? What keeps me entertained when it comes to animation is the placement actors in the shots. Your shots were setup well and I enjoyed the camera movements. You might think of the rule of thirds in future animations and a little tighter in on the actors but overall great job. Lighting is tough for me. I like the softer look in animations. But what you completed was very impressive. Excellent work. I look forward to more animations from you. Great job on singing and the music!! Steve
  8. If you have time tomorrow I will be home tomorrow evening
  9. Yep I remember. Try this, install am on Brent-PC. Then copy license into am folder. Then launch messenger on brentpc and see if that helps. Remind me what type of video card is in that machine.
  10. Ok try this on the main computer add user in the control panel with admin rights remote01. Then make sure in the permissions on the data folder remote01 has read and write
  11. Robert Also make sure the messenger app is in the exception list for private and domain users of the firewall. Something stupid I have done in the past, make sure both computers are part of the workgroup under the properties of network advanced settings.
  12. Robert Peer to peer setup can be frustrating. Try on the permission tab to add a user named Robert if that is how you log onto the remote. Every user must have read write permission to the folder Everyone never seems to work for me.
  13. Right click on the folder where the shares ate located. From there set your permissions. I will try on messenger
  14. Stan is getting ready. Robert has done a wonderful job of rigging.
  15. I decided to revisit George. I have reworked body and head. shorten the arms and legs. reworked the tummy area. In another thread we have a character I created, Stan, that is being rigged by Robert. There are several things that are similar to George so I thought I would resurrect this character. I am still having issues with AO.
  16. Matt I looked to make sure, and I good to go on render with lines group. I am using AO, not the fake. I have had issues in the past but have been able to solve them. David I found two things that had me baffled. One half of the model has sss turned on and glossy as a shader. I turned them off and the black areas moved to different locations. I am looking at every single group to make sure they are at default values. I do have average normal turned on. I will try to render with them set to default
  17. I have been playing here late at night. I can not figure out why the dark spots with AO
  18. I have posted anything in awhile. Well the contest was the last thing I have modeled. So I thought I would do another female face with the big eyes and pointy chin. This is the fourth female I have done with this style. I am not sure why the dark spots rendered under the nose. There is a hook on both sides under a 5 point patch.
  19. Very cool. Enjoyed it very much!!
