  1. I finished a new character. I am having some issues with cookie cut on the decals as you can see with her eyelashes.
  2. I reworked George's belly and chest area.. Rendered a full 4k image.
  3. I have installed the saucy rig. The main thing will be the face rig
  4. No i removed the middle ring at the back of the knee
  5. I was reading an article about joints and bending of the mesh. Here is what I came up with a knee. It still needs to be tweaked. KneeBend.mp4
  6. Robert I have taken the hips back down which allowed for more overlap.
  7. Awesome. I have been watching this closely. I will try a project like this next year
  8. Something fun is happening.
  9. I have been smoothing and cleaning up the characters and adding little things. It has been slow going. I have added a little hair and will continue to make tim into a goblin. I have found to do a close up render will help find the problem areas. I have not worked on the eyelids yet but will get there.
  10. I decided a few days ago to remove the very basic rig I had in the horse and replace it with a new one. I used the tsm2 quad rig. In doing so I had to remodel several key areas on the horse. I modeled the horse in 2006 but wanted to use it for this sequence. I also used a custom rig for the knight, and well lets say I was not happy. I was happy when Mack announced 1.5 of the saucy rig. I re rigged the knight with the saucy rig and I have just started weighting (only the legs are weighted). So now I will finish the horse and knight. Over the next few days I will be uploading pics of the process.
  11. Started smart skinning and adjustments
  12. I have finally got Timothy rigged. No smart skin but with some weighting.
  13. David Same thing here. The closer I get to the render the issue disappears.
  14. David Same thing here. The closet I get to the render the issue disappears.
  15. Both cookie cutter and old hair for trees cause the crash.
  16. I have been working today and have had a great deal of rendering crashes. It seems to deal with hair, and cookie cutter decals and version 19. It renders in 18 but in 19 as soon as I hit render AM crashes. I have pulled elements out of my project to see where the problem comes from, but now 19 will not even load the project without crashing. It has been a rough night.
  17. Hi Mack Good news.
  18. Here is a shot of netrender doing its deal in v19. I haven't had one issue with netrender. Steve
  19. I have been working on a small animation. I am rendering the animation in version 19 netrender. Netrender worked very well in the process but I ran across OpenMP. I saw this setting in the options as well. I selected the setting during the rendering and it after rendering without. The first rendering took about 21 minutes. The second with OPen MP selected took 19:42. Is this setting active and taking advantage of the hardware or is getting ready for the future? Also I notice the dialog box for GPU rendering can be selected. Is this just a place holder as well? Steve
  20. Congrats!
  21. Looks great now how did you render that
  22. I think animschool uses syncsketch
  23. I did a 4k rendering to match the new monitors and wow I love the details. This program still amazes me.
