  1. Nice stuff Kelley! Looks like you put alot of work in this.
  2. Thanks I will probably upload all of the models that I have. Between school (welding), work and family I dont get to spend the time I need or want on the software. Maybe someone on here will be able to get something done with them.
  3. Top quality work work. Its always nice to see your work. Can we see a wireframe please.
  4. Beautiful What A.O. and S.S.S. settings did u use.
  5. I decided to try a simple skating animation. Its only a couple of seconds but crits are welcome roller.mov
  6. Nice model and thanks for sharing. You did a great job keeping the patch count low. How well do the the legs and feet move? Did you use different sss settings for the groups?
  7. I like the first color scheme. Nice work on all the characters that you have designed. It seems like everyone is learning fast.
  8. Cool! I've been checkin this thread all day. Thank You.

    AM 2008 rig

I dont know a whole lot about rigging but based on what alot of users are saying and what I am seeing I am waiting patiently and looking forward to this rig being done. Thanks for all the work on this.
  10. Good attitude. Here's my unsolicited opinion... There's a niche for everything. "Edgy" cartoons simply have a vocal niche - people who want to show how hip they are. "Ducktales" & "Little Lulu" types are, by nature, not well represented by any means except passive ones (like watching your hits). To sell to a 10-year old, you've got to remember what you liked at 10 - this is tough because you want to remember yourself more mature and hip than you really were. (At 10, my sensibilities foretold the kinds of things I like now: adventures, mystery, gadgets.) Once you've found your niche - work that baby. If you can get a loyal audience, you're in. Excellent advice there Martin. Largento, glad to see your still pluggin away at this thing. Exactly how many people (from the storyboards, sound, etc) do you have working with you on this? I have some out of work 2d friends from Dreamworks that would be willing to help me out but I still dont have a idea for a storyline. Just half baked characters.
  11. Nice work! I like the animation and the stylized look of the cat. Keep posting progress on this.
  12. Still looking good Heiner. I like every model that you have posted so far. This stuff makes me want get a better understanding of the toon shader.
  13. Great looking model! Fredd Moore's animation and character design's are one of my favs. I was checking out the model before I read the post and thought it was one of his sketch's. Keep us updated on this.
  14. Very nice Totlover. You just keep getting better and better. Why not test out both night and day scenes. Use Yves skylight rig (if you havent upgraded) and also test out different light setups for a night scene. I would vote for the daylight, only because you have a lot of models in the scene.
  15. Is there anyway that someone may have access to Will Suttons tutorial?
  16. Nice work. Could you show a wireframe? I hope your gonna be competing in the video tutorial contest cause I need to learn mechanical modeling.
  17. Finished a little bit more. i am also uploading the project file. Let me know if evrything works ok. Stormedfx I am not working on any projects right now except this and a couple of others . Lets get together and work on something crusher.prj
  18. Use these settings for any particular group and drop him in hashs default choreography and render him out.
  19. Wow! I was just checking all your topics and you are learning this software very fast. Great model you should finish him.
  20. Here is a closeup. I used the same settings you posted along with sss.
  21. Thanks Mtpeak2 Heiner here are some renders done with sss, ao, and sss with your toon settings. Here is the lighting that I use Choreography1.cho
  22. Thanks Guys Stormedfx I like your stuff too. If you ever want to work on a project together l'm willing Heiner what toon settings did you use for this character. As far as the skin goes I used sss and a 4 point light setup similar to the one in the default choreography. I deleted the choreography so I cant show screen grabs but I will set it up again for you and upload it. Make sure to go through each individual lights properties and that will help show why it (the render) looks the way it does. Half is lighting and half is sss.
  23. I like the toon render the best. Nice looking character.
  24. Thanks I am gonna remodel the whole face. I am definitely gonna rig this one. I want to use him and the rabbit off the cd and practice animating based on the actual cartoon.
  25. The model is actually based on The Crusher. I cant seem to render in wireframe for some reason so I will just upload the model. crusher.mdl
