  4. Great cat looks like it would have one very large hairball though.....have you tried to animate it
  5. the light in the first image is mostly from the windows at the front entrance. The wall behind is reflective as there is a wall of water flowing on it. But I can see that there should be more of a shadow as you suggested on the desk.
  6. I tried to do something similar here but not sure how to make the feet look right. Any suggestions. This is the view from the loft area where I usually eat lunch with the common area between lofts a great place for the t-rex but this is hard to blend in. I need more help on this one
  7. I have a digital camera and took a few pictures of the office where I work and tried to add the free t-rex to a couple of pictures. This was the dino rendered in Am on black background ,cut in out then added to a layer in PS. In PS I copied just the desk to another layer then put that in front of the dino layer . Added a shadow layer effect and tried to do a reflective layer of the dino on the desk area. Is there any suggestions on how to do this better This seemed to work okay

  12. in case you don't believe me Hmm just reloaded project and noticed all the color changes i made in the chor did not appear to save ...so if you play with the project go to each material location in the chor and change the colors to your favorites or at least the green ones layers.prj

  15. the original idea was to have reflective "panels" of hair reflect light as they bounced around while the model moved. But my machine is not that fast and it didn't seem to work on the first few frames so i tried glow and played with some color settings and this is what i got....interesting but useful..maybe. and since it was late I posted what I had to see if it was worth tweaking..but i have some other things to try so project 11.1b ghair.prj

Hmm not sure why but a tga sequence as a regular color decal is controlled by picking decal sequence frame for each frame of animation so you can have say 1 1 1 5 3 1 2 2 etc. But if you take the same decal sequence and change its type to other and have it control length of hair it ignores your choices Not sure if this is on purpose or if it should be reported the project below takes a patch and applies a frame from a color sequence inluded and follows the choices but if you add hair and change the decal to control the hair it doesn't seem to follow and just does the sequence in order but if you use the sequence and film a animation of the color map and use that to control the hair length that would be a work around john colortest.zip

  21. yes 2 bags one inside the other bones in each bag bones orient like bones of goo 90% goo has dynamic constraint bone then dropped the whle thing with rigid body
