  2. some one asked about animating a tube along a path for an escape route here is a half tube done with a pose slider escape.mov
  3. this is too slow and nothing is tweaked image if you can bullets fired across the ground more later or what do you think it is really bdot.mov
  4. log on to community goto last page plugins s gross primitiive then put onto hxt folder new modle right click wizard primitive select feather=spring set what you want and tada spring

  7. I took thhe LUG model from the CD and the Wood-A tga from the wood material folder and appled the tga to every patch in the LUG The front and back have the tga rotated differently. Each patch had to be a group to get best control lug.mov
  8. be careful sprites can become habit forming...1st you build the nice machine models now you burn them ..next you'll be using steffen's explode plugin to dismantel them Johnl3d ..didn't notice your modified post when i posted my suggestion about why they might not be working
  9. actually pants too tight and up to far for a rapper...of course this is a cartoon so it might be funnier this way

  12. here is a moving animated sphere instead of bullet holes i had some pictures fade in and out rod.mov

It will work on any model all it is is simply turning on a decal or two or three on a decal there is a percentage under the image tab for each type of image you simply start with say a decal on a patch of a black dot set at 0% color at the time of the shot you set in the chor the % to 100 . make sure the first frame is set at hold interpolation for the % attribute or you could probablty do this in a on/off pose

  17. exactly Rodney just some debris flying off and an inverted crater switch black and white on tga or give a negative percentage my current favorite is the muliple model plugin I tried it with a simple model with a pose then animated each one easily in the chor sorry this is a little of the explosion topic this is what i goy mult.mov
  18. the crater is a a small mesh with two tga decals .one acts as a displacement map and the other a color decal by increasing the percentage..they both start at 0 the crater grows and the color changes as the percent goes up as set in the chor..I did this just to show a way of doing it in fact i purposely shortened the explosion and halved it in size just to speed it up. to do it right i would have added some debris flying out and a short lens flare at the beginning ....a quick flash .

  20. threw together this explosion with crater using explsion material on cd and two tga files one for displacement and the other for color explode.mov
  21. haven't see a snow globe sample for awhile nicely done
  22. this is not really complete but I hope it gives you a way to proceed. I should have used some bones on the trench segment to get better control of the depression. Hopefully the rough project will still be helpful . John ...hours away from 2005 ..3d

  24. Okay i did one more try the rest is up to the next volunteer .. I have one model which is the hill and the rock I used a pose slider to position the rock and deform the hill..the timing is pretty close but ...anyway i then had some sprite snow turn on and off in the chor by adjusting the emission rate when the time seemed right snowball3.mov
