  1. I am using Win 7(64bit) and Win 8.1 (64bit) currently... I am working more on Win7 and just from time to time have a look on some stuff I do in A:M at my win 8.1 laptop... I can't say that I have noticed anything different. Are you using Win 8 or Win 8.1? (always use 8.1... 8 is horrible) See you *Fuchur*
  2. Hm... I used it with v18 32bit and it did not crash... It did not work as it should (did create something bit not perfectly) neighter... See you *Fuchur*
  3. Beveling... but I am not sure it works with the newest version... You need to select a spline (ring) to activate it and it will only work in 32bit version of A:M v18. See you *Fuchur*
  4. That really was great . Much character in that character's movement . Well done! See you *Fuchur*
  5. Sweeper can do that by itself... have a look at the options if you use a specific number of duplicates, etc. . See you *Fuchur*
  6. Looks very nice
  7. That will get you sharp edges. Rays > 1 will generate soft once but will take longer to render. (this is sometimes called area lights in other software if i am not wrong). See you *Fuchur*
  8. Quite close to what I have seen from movies from india. There the differences between the liberal and the conservative parties are a common topic too. It is a good sign that stuff like that is appearing. It would be interesting to see who made it... Western people or someone in the middle east. I hope the second... For me it is not even strange but a little "klischee" but whatever it is it is good. See you *Fuchur*
  9. Fun ... but they really close to forgot about voice-acting, sound effects, etc. See you *Fuchur*

    Sev Trek

That was fun to watch ... well done! See you *Fuchur*
  11. It is on v19 not this version here. V19 will only be available for windows vista and newer though. (due to a compiler change I guess). Since u use a subscription you will be able to use v19 when it is out (it is not yet available for beta testers neigther) but only with newer windows versions than xp. see you *fuchur*
  12. Hello everybody . I wish you all a Merry Happy Christmas (or whatever you are celebrating all over the world ) and a wonderful time with your family, friends, children and partners whereever you are . Best wishes *Fuchur*
  13. As far as I can see, this is only important if you exporting and reimporting something... See you *Fuchur*
  14. Have a Merry happy christmas everybody see you *Fuchur*
  15. It is not in v16... it was introduced in v17 I think. Have a look at my signature for a video tutorial about it. See you *Fuchur*
  16. these are the once you want... but they are only available if you are in a perspektive birds view. in the views-toolbar you can switch between those. (there very likely is a shortcut for that but i am not sure right now which one it is. see you *Fuchur*
  17. That is not really possible... what you have there is a triangle-model. Those are especially unsuited for A:M. You have two options: Peak the splines (which will look facetted) or use snap-top-surface (the retopoly-tool of A:M) and rebuild the model over the available geometry. If it was a quad-faced-model, it could be useable with a little bit of work, but like this, that is close to unusable. See you *Fuchur*
  18. Hi Simon, go to "Tools > Options > Rendering", switch the selection-box to "Shaded" (or "Shaded Wireframe" and it should be available below. See you *Fuchur*
  19. Have a look at you realtime settings. i'd say in v15 you have "show backfacing patches" on and in the other version it is off. See you *Fuchur*
  20. very nicly done with a very good sense of timing and nice animation and overall look. keep on rocking *Fuchur*
  21. Actually, you can create a path quite nicely in the chor as anything else. Click on the path-tool and create a simple spline. Now the path should be there... now switch to "Modelling"-mode in chor. You can now for instance lath that spline and ist should be ready to go. Another possibility is, that you turn on snap-to-grid, and draw with the help of that an evenly spaced 4 point spline. Now select the spline and set the magnitude to 167% (this is quite close to a circle. See you *Fuchur*
  22. ...or you use custom render presets and just ignore the camera settings all along (i only once set the camera to a 16:9 resolution)... that is what I do. the good thing is, that if you use more than one camera you do not need to set the cameras to the same settings all the time.
  23. It can be used like that. But it highly depends on what you are after... if everything is in one model, the sweeper or duplicator wizard will do the job. If you are in a choreography, "Multiple copies" will do what you want. (invoke this plugin by on the model which should be multiplied. Then it will have options more or less like the duplicator plugin). Putting stuff in a circular form is possible with sweeper by creating a circular spline/path and putting it on there. The duplicate-wizard would need an offset of the group you are using so it can put the models in a circle. I am not aware of a real good tutorial on this right now, but maybe someone else can give you more information. See you *Fuchur*
  24. very likely just the interpolation type of keyframes which is getting in the way here...
  25. You can access that model-info by going to the modeling-window, right-click in a free area and click on "info". See you *Fuchur*
