  1. Very kind of you . Thank you and keep up the very good work . That is really quite a big setup there . *Fuchur*
  2. Hi, here are just a few thoughts on that problem from me: First you need to make sure, that it is not A:M itself, that is causing this. Just start A:M without the file first... does that work? If not, please try this: 1.) Have a look into your A:M installation folder. 2.) Search for "master0.mac" or "master.mac". 3.) Rename that file to "master.mac_bak". 4.) Try to start A:M again. If it starts fine without the file, the problem is the file. It may be that the file itself is corrupt. But you may be able to get some models, etc. out there: 1.) First of, make a copy of the file! (backup it manually by coping the file in the file browser/finder/explorer) 2.) Open the file in a text-editor (notepad/editor would it be on windows, but it really does not matter much...) 3.) Have a look at it... does it look "complete" at the end of the file? (you will see several entries if it is complete, otherwise the file is corrupt) 4.) You should be able to extract the models for instance from this file if they are still available in the file. Saving a model from a corrupt project-file: 1.) To do that, just create a new project file in A:M, create a new (empty) model in it and add one spline to it. 2.) Save it and open it in a text editor now. 3.) Search for the model in there and replace the model in the file with the part from the other file which matches that... I hope you can understand what I've tried to explain... if you are used to HTML or XML languages, it should be readable. If you are not, you may want to upload that corrupt file here, so we can have a look at that. See you *Fuchur*
  3. A HD 7950 is quite old already but if you use it for A:M alone it will be still very nice... I have a HD7870 in one of my computers which works fine, but a newer one (RX460, RX 470 or RX 480) should give a nice performance booth if you are playing games too. It really depends on what you are after. See you *Fuchur*
  4. I'm an AMD guy... works well too for me. Intel are less fast. That is the whole story about it... especially for gaming and stuff like this, Intels are not even close to the AMD or Nvidia offerings... See you *Fuchur*
  5. Hi Aldrich, you can do that here: http://www.hash.com/reports See you *Fuchur* PS: You'll need to create a login. It is not bound to the forum login.
  6. Cool... great that it worked out. See you *Fuchur*
  7. Really looking great . Dynamic Constraints are very easy to use. I'd maybe make it a little bit more stiff because her breasts are really very bouncy (not that I would have a bigger problem with that ). See you *Fuchur*

    Koza

Very, very cool serg . See you *Fuchur*
  9. In general I am only able to help with trials (without hacking ), but as this sounds, Jason just missed the e-mail. I'll get in touch with him about this... I am quite sure he just overlooked the e-mail if it really took 3 weeks now. See you *Fuchur*
  10. The simple rule is: If something has been created as an vector image, you should be able to use it quite nicely (if it is not too complex), otherwise it will be hard to work with it. As long as it is for instance a logo, created in Illustrator or Inkscape or CorelDraw, everything is fine. An exporter from some kind of pixel program which has to convert the pixels to vector formats will often not work very well. See you *Fuchur*
  11. Hey Dan, great to see you again . See you *Fuchur*
  12. In general 1-3 days should do, but Jason recently told us, that it may come to some delays... so it may take a little longer, but should soon be answered. See you *Fuchur*
  13. 1.44 MB if I remember correctly for one 3.5" Floppy Disc... I am here since v8.0 (Dennis the Dog) if I remember correctly... See you *Fuchur*
  14. Hey Junya, very nice to have you with us . We will talk about those constraint types in another topic See you *Fuchur*
  15. Cool, thanks a lot Jason See you *Fuchur*
  16. Concerning netrenderer: Let us know where you would need help there... I have used it many times very successfully on my own computer and on several in my home and on our business network without much of a problem. And while it is not as speedy as a GPU-render solution, it actually makes rendering MUCH faster. OpenMP is already included in some of A:Ms tools, but with rendering it has been a problem that the renderings of certain areas of the image where a little different if done on different cores and while that is not a problem with whole images (where this only results in an unnoticeable screenflickering), it is different if you compose those parts together afterwards. Then you will see tiny lines in your renderings. I am not sure if that was a problem with the old version of OpenMP or if it would still be the case, but that made the renderings useless. (but this information is a few years ago)
  17. Yeah, that one is very useful too... here is another video about that... And sorry for being that video-active lately – I just got myself a new video capture tool which really makes it very easy for me to create video captures with a great quality . 18. Actually that is not meant for that in most cases. It means, you can print with ABS on it instead of only PLA. ABS on a non-heated plate will very likely not stick to the plate (or at least it is much harder like that), because if it cooles down to fast, it starts shrinking very much. So the cooling needs to be very slow and that can be archieved with a heated plate. If the the bed is heatet and you try to get stuck material away with that, it can work, but in general the heated plate will heat up to something like 100 °C, which is not enough for PLA to melt... (would need something in the 170-200 °C area to melt). What you need to do to not make it stick enough but is easy to remove is to use rough rubber tape or something like that on the plate. That is something all the more major 3d printer manufucterer do suggest. Glas has one other advantage: It will produce a very nice finish and is absolutely straight. That is, why it is used sometimes... on the other hand it is very heavy compared to plastic plates and your bed-engine and the springs on it need to be able to handle that...
  19. I am not sure if Terry has solved it for now or if there is still a problem. Terry? See you *Fuchur*
  20. Just in case you did not know... if your subscription is still running (so it is not yet over one year since you activated it), you can talk to Jason to reattach it to your "new" computer / installation. If it does happen one time or something like that, he will very likely help you out... support@hash.com is the way to go there... See you *Fuchur* PS: And please update to Windows 10 1607 if you did not till now... it really is much better and of cause it is a free update... it may take a hour or something like that, but it is worth it. You can update if you go to "Start > Settings" (you can search for it or it should be there at the bottom if you are still on Win10 1511) and go to "Update and Security". Make sure you activate the checkbox at the "Search for updates"-button and than hit it... it will take a little. If it does not find something, try it again one or two times. Then it should start downloading stuff if you are not current. while downloading you can still work, but when it is ready, you should return and invoke the restart, otherwise it will try to restart the computer sometime in the night, when most people do not have their computers on... that does not matter much, but just to be sure about it, do it yourself.
  21. Which Windows 10 version are you using? Do you already have the 1607 update installed or are you still on 1511? (for many you need to force that update once..) 1607 is like SP1 and should be installed as soon as possible. It is much more stable than 1511... Of cause that does not really make it certain, that there will not be something going wrong (especially if it is hardware related or something like that) but it is less likely to happen. See you *Fuchur* PS: No matter what you are going to do... think about a second partition of your hard disc or even something like a NAS or an external drive. As that it will not be a problem if the system has a problem... you can still just reinstall it (or even use something like TrueImage to mirror your installation) and will have all the work still where it was before and only your software can be reinstalled.
  22. Happy new year everybody . May it be fun, successful and... happy . See you *Fuchur*
  23. Nice fence, but be aware that that many patches will result in long rendering times and sooner or later in a slowdown of the programm when FindingPatches is active. See you *Fuchur*
  24. Just a question about that: Can't your model be scaled 100x while modeling and rescaled before export? See you *Fuchur*
  25. If you want less power consumption, the R9 Nano might be right for you, other than that the R9 Fury is a solid card for a good price point. Of cause I have not tested how they perform against a FirePro or Quadro, but those are in general very expensive and if you do not use software with special drivers for those cards, you can very likely just leave those behind because they are not faster without the additional driver support but cost twice as much. See you *Fuchur*
