dre4mer
Looking cool. But I think you need to put him in a scene where you can actually see the refraction at work, that would help sell the icccyy feeling even more. -Ethan

gazzamataz
Nice model there m8, but as others have said he needs some transparency and refraction on him... He looks a little too metalic at the moment and it will interesting seeing him animated since being made of ice, I cannot imagine he will bend too well...
the_black_mage
you should have some icy paritcles emitting from him.
jon
i have to congratulate you on the tremendous progress you've made in animation:master! just last week you were importing polygon models, and now here you are creating a complex character in a:m overnight that looks nearly identical to a professional game character! i can hardly wait to see your splinemanship! -jon

jon
you've discovered the secret to animation: master modeling: triangles! dood, it's a poly port and u r l4m3. use the program and your imagination, and create real art. -jon
Viper GTX2.0
wow that look like to me a poly model.
dude
dood, it's a poly port and u r l4m3. Ouch! Hes right you need to start modeling stuff in A:m if your gonna post it in the fourm. -dude

always_a_kid
Whoa! That hurts my eyes just by glancing at it. I bet you must get a real headache while working with it. I think the model is cool anyway (as long as I don't look at the wireframe).
dude
Do you guys get it? He didnt model it in A:m. He imported it.
Viper GTX2.0
Do you guys get it? He didnt model it in A:m. He imported it. Then wat program did he use 3D max Maya wat one.
jon
whatever his workflow, the four-triangle-square method of construction tells me that this was imported from the original game model after folks started asking for the wireframe. with a little practice, i'm sure case could create a much better version, but importing a poly model isn't going to do a thing to build mad splinin' skills. -jon
case
3ds max i did the model though yes to all not in am i want to animate him in am though ahh no i made him from a game i am trying to get good in am though i mean
dude
i got really bored so i got in aniamtion master and creted this what do all of you think So you lied?
MattWBradbury
LOL. I looked at that and said to myself, "My that looks a lot like the Ice creature off of Oblivion." And now I know it is. The whole thing were you said you checked your model to see if it had joints sealed the deal. You can use models from games (for personal enjoyment), just don't say you made them. In fact, tell people that you pulled it out of a game, but do something with them, like make him driving a car. Yeah... that'd be sweet.
case
i didny pull it from the game i dont know how to do that
jon
whatever the source, the model will need some serious work before it will perform well in a:m. this isn't a limitation of the program, it's like you're bringing your favorite kenny g mp3s to our rave. might be good music, but it just won't fly here. -jon
