  1. I can't believe I missed this post. Nice models. I especially love the characters, but that cave is great too.
  2. That looks great. Are you having any trouble with the booleans or are they fairly non-pissing-off ?
  3. Hey John, what did you use to make that? It looks good, but a little to high in elevation, maybe?
  4. That head looks really good. I like the hair too.
  5. Wow, that decaling really brought that scene put. I also like the thatch decal.
  6. Thanks Ken. I haven't actually attatched the the two halves of the head. I probably should have mentioned that in my other posts. Thanks again for the comment.
  7. Oh, I know it's not an exact match to the ref, but I decided to keep the horn count down so they wouldn't crash together in posing. It also help with the patch count . Here are some wires.
  8. Hi everybody. It's been a while since I posted. I was working insane hours at work, blew out my back, and got fired the next day. It was a temp job though, and I knew I would get let go soon. I now have time to work on some stuff some more. This character is my spin on the Draconian from the series of Dragonlance books. Although I have the head done I have yet to decide if I will add the detail that I have in the reference with splines, or if I will try to do it with decals. The patch count is already at over 1200, just for the head, ugh! Let me know what you think about that. The pupil of the eye will be slitted. Right now I am using the eye from my Jinx character (beagle entered in the Mascot Image Contest). Any help with this character on the way to finishing it would be apreciated. Thanks everyone.
  9. I wish you had more done that I could see. That model is incredible.
  10. I like the overasll look of the house, but also think the lighting needs to be toned down. Maybe if you "blued" it up a little?
  11. Your image is coming along great. I would also use sprite emitters to create the small perticles that float in the depths. I am really looking forward to seeing this finished.
  12. I atcually like the way the environment map makes that sphere look. I like the logo.
  13. Sweet. I am happy with the ramp up. Although I haven't been posting on the boards I still visit the site every day. If you decide to use A:M as part of the pipeline let Tom know that Xarion's still watching .
  14. No, delaneyj . Sorry for the confusion there starwarsguy.
  15. It's for a game called "Caeron 3000" www.caeron3000.com. I've been following this thing for a looong time (at least 4 years). That looks just like it. I was also going to try and model the Hawkeen, but started doing other things. Yours is great. I used to go by Xarion on the boards. What's you ID there?
  16. What a beautiful mesh!. Excellent job with that. I still have to try and tackle a female (of any species), all my models have been male. I hope my mesh looks as good as that when I do.
  17. I love that siut, haha. I think the skin mat. should be scaled down a little more to make it look a little more real. Other than that, it's great.
  18. The tights are alot better. I was wondering if you use porcelain or not?
  19. Hey Rodney, that's the monitor I got and I still don't regret getting it .
  20. I don't think I've seen better plastic in an A:M render. Fantastic.
  21. I think my favorite is the one where she's looking directly at the camera. All of them are great. I'm sure you noticed the cloth going through her upper thigh on the second one.
  22. Hey Colin, it's looking great so far. I meant to ask, is the mask apart of the face, or is it a seperate object?
  23. This is turning out great. Your models are beautiful, and I'm sure the finished story will be fantastic. Great job.
  24. I did something like that about a year or so ago. I never finished mine, but if I did I still don't think it would look as good as that! Nice job. Ps: John, I love the canary, lol!
  25. Right now I like the version with the pupils better. I would add a slight glow to the eyes of the pupiless one. I would also leave no skin around the eyes and make it all mask, or at least "paint" the skin the same color of the mask near the eye. That might make it look better. That hair is awesome!
