  1. Thanks Mark.. I'll check it ... another question.. Does mirror plugin work with smartskin ??? or just weight cps
  2. First Frank movements .... I used 2008 Rig ... Mark.... I have a question ... the weights aren't properly copied to left side ( compare joints in the right and left elbow ) ... what could cause this ? walk.mov
  3. Great character Myron, I would not do better .... you should try using AO / IBL to enhance the look of the scene
  4. Brilliant set Mark ... well done.... Do we use just ext cam ( binocular ) ? Or cam I use a personal cam inside the building ( between start/end shot ) ?
  5. David ... Your solution is simplest and worked very well.. can you show how are cps linked to bones ?
  6. Jake, David ... watch it please frank_rig_test.mov
  7. I didn't like the first version of Frank so I decided to innovate. The concept is, since the principle, to be a short with cartoon style so I finally decided what will be the design of modeling. It will be based on the new model of Frank. Characters, scenes, objects and props will have the same language. The rig proccess will be more complicated but I think that the result will be nice. What do you think about it ?
  8. I believe that the Frank is ready to be rigged ...
  9. Hi Jason ... about the tutorial ... Do you intend to put it back ?
  10. amazing ..... congratulations Tore
  11. Are you Trying to render as wireframe or shaded wireframe ?? Shaded Wire have Polys per Patch ...
  12. Hi Jason .. here is my attempt ... glass.zip glass_cho.mov glass.mov
  13. Done ... Robert .. did you update report ?
  14. I set the visual effects of windows for a better performance instead of a better appearence (in the practice I turned off the aero). The problem seems gone. Can you check this Robert ? Control Panel -> System and Security -> System -> Advanced System Settings -> Advanced Tab -> Performance settings -> Visual effect .. Adjust for best performance
  15. 64 bits ... doesn´t matter if AO is on or off this is my bet too ... I don't remember to have this problem in XP
  16. Robert .... seems to work here too let's report it ?
  17. at least it isn't a Brazilian curse It happens with all kind of render settings Here is another shot .. now using V15 ( at home ) ... Very simple scene .. no hair, no particles .. just two balls and the same curse ...it freezes in the 5 seconds too but the system restoring is faster 5sec.mov
  18. SOLUTION IN THIS POST Hi friends ... sometimes (50-50) when I use Render Mode ( Q ) the A:M freezes exactly on the 5 seconds of rendering .... sometimes it back but mostly I need to kill the proccess. This happens in both version V15 (home) and V16 (office) in two distincts computers ( both running windows 7/Nvidia ). someone else ?
