    Demo reel

Thank you friends ... I don't have time now to comment your comments but I already see that I have a lot of work. As I said, this is just an intro and my thought is to develop a demo reel about 2 minutes with images, animations and your testimony ... my alleged sponsor wants to know some of my work at first. After I enter the project itself. Tonight I go deep in your comments... Thank you again

    Demo reel

as you know I'll seek a sponsor for my project "Trem do Pantanal 2020", the first step is to concept a good demo reel to be presented to them... well for this I'll need your inestimable help as always. Please .. can you guide me ?? I'm thinking in this intro... does it work ?
  5. Bump maps doesn't create a "real" mesh .. this effect of grass growing through the sand, I just reach with displacement map... ------- ... and I was playing with Zeco's concept yesterday just for fun ... here is the result http://youtu.be/vYawnEdYTb4
  6. Thank you friends for comments ... the grass is displacement map and I'm not sure why it is scintillating.
  7. Here is the first animation test with Zeco and set... I did it mainly to check time render, this sequence was rendered in 12h 32min using netrender ( 8 rendernodes ) set_1.mov
  8. walk cycle - comparative zeco_jao.mov
  9. Character 2 is named "Jão" and it's alive thanks to Mark Skodacek. I used the same Zeco's action then I adjusted some bones to achieve weight. take_2_char_0.mov
  10. Thank you friends !!! I did some minor changes in the short.. the short is named " O Causo " now and the main character is " Zeco " I had to surrender to the demands of my wife
  11. Hi friends.... Mark Skodacek ( mtpeak2 ) is working to rig the characters ... and he is doing a great great job with Squetch Rig, well Lau is done and here is the first test. walk.mov
  12. Thanks for voting friends... Ok.. sorry for delay. Soon as I have access to my computer tomorrow, I provide the image for you
  13. good eyes... Robert ...about particles... did they works for you ?
  14. well friends .... thanks for vote in my image in the "anything goes" contest, here is it. As I said it needed more and best foliage ambient and they were my goal. I appreciate the tip about shingles ( Robert ). Another effect that I used was the particles, to simulate dust in the air, can you notice them ? I'm setting the best setup to animate these particles... any tip is welcome.
  15. thank you everybody for voting me... as you know, my entry is the main set of a short that I'm working on. I would like to comment about other entries mainly 2nd and 3rd ones. The Al Capone model is already a classic here and a great job done by Robert, I missed some fine textures on it... a displacement map would be great there as well as a better color map. The hair is superb and the stereo image is killer, kudos. Nancy.... your images are a dream, the colors, the composition, the characters. Please keep bringing them to us and of course animate them !!!!! Congratulation to all other participants. The excelence comes with the practice don't give up, remember ..... detail, details, details this makes the difference at all. Thank you again I'm honored.
  16. amazing entries .... a variety of styles.
  17. my image is virtually signed by its context
