    Which character?
  2. $299 will get you the actual CD and literature shipped to your address and that never expires. $49 will get you a 1 year subsription and you download it from their site. If after the 1 year you do not renew your subscription you will not be able to use A:M.
  3. I love it Nice work man.
  4. Thanks for the great card. Happy new year to you and wish you all the success.
  5. You may not have been gifted with an R/C, but you're certainly gifted with A:M. That is some amazing work. C&C? A little crispier shadow under Big Foot (like that under the monitor in the back) would sell the realism.
  6. Well if that didn't bring the holiday cheer I don't know what will. Very well done. Cheers.
  7. That is one sweet looking environment. Wow Lazlo! You rock! Glad to see you still around
  8. I'll tell you what I think when you get done with the interior. Oh and I'd like a sexy, uniformed stewardess to go with it
  9. Nice work. Welcome aboard.
  10. About the DVDs, I'm guessing you're referring to the Siggraph Training series? I'd get both because they each have unique tutorials. The tech ref guide is what it is, very technical but it is an excellent reference for advanced users. The Art of Animation:Master is a must have for beginners who are not yet familiar with the program. Sorry to give you so many choices, but if she is a beginner then I'd start wth the TAoA:M. I guess I could've saved myself all this typing and just said "buy them all"
  11. That looks fantastic Mike. Nice work.
  12. That's a great looking video. I enjoyed it alot. Keep up the good work, I think you have a good eye for entertainment.
  13. You definitely have a unique style. I like it. I don't know Spanish but I am intrigued and interested in what is going on. Good job. Looking forward to the subtitled version.
  14. Fantastic work sahib. Your progress is awe inspiring.
  15. Strange indeed - its working fine at my end.
  16. Click on KeeKat and choose Bone mode
  17. Click on the number of the pose slider and change the value and see if that changes anything.
  18. Looks like a great start. This'll be fun to follow your progress.
  19. "Hope this helps"
  20. I did not touch any constraints. When you import the light into the lamp model window it becomes part of the model (the light's bone becomes children of the lamp's). Then simply drag and drop the lamp into your chor. window and move it about. "Hope that helps".
  21. I had just opened up Lamp2 model from the library. I then right-clicked in the model window New > Light. Went into bone mode and placed the light where I wanted it in the lamp's shade. I then imported the lamp in the chor window. Everything moves as expected, the light moves where the lamp moves. Is that what you've done?
  22. Try using it as a Decal instead. That worked for me. An image squence would work as a Roto.
  23. They're not working. I emailed Martin about it.
  24. Hey Matt; bones would be the way to go. It will achieve the same thing as muscle mode but much more efficiently. Trying to use cloth would involve collision settings that are so close together will cause the program to crash. I think a combination of bones, nulls, constraints and paths would be your best bet. Maybe some muscle manipulation as the ribbon goes thru the knott. Best of luck.
  25. Thank you so much for the superb suggestions. David, I'm not sure how to make him reach out of the mirror with it being an animated decal? This is what I've come up with so far Adorable_lowres.mov
