  1. I see what you're saying, Robert. Given the short time between the two dialogues, it'll give a snappier action. I just may do that over the holiday. For the time being, I'm having fun with this Image Sequencing stuff Adorable_lowres.mov
  2. Thanks guys. Gerry; I went ahead and imported the image sequence which I exported from QT. I'll play with an .mov file as well just to see the difference (if any). I still need to animate the second voice but I ran this test and realized I need to get his reflection coser to the camera - maybe? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qz1mr0lNXb0
  3. I consider it just another run of the mill masterpiece - just like your other master pieces Just beautiful, Stian.
  4. This is my entry WIP. mov 2 (still blocking) is the reflection that I want to import as Image Sequence into A:M and project it on the mirror surface. I have never done it before. How does it work? I import the image sequence in the Image folder (which it told me was too large ~ 380 frames) and then what? Adorable_lowres.mov Adorable_2.mov
  5. Other than the leg popping and lack of arcs in the movements, that looks pretty good. Please share the final wll you?
  6. You have two buttons that may look similar but they have different functions; one is the Bones mode (that's the dog bone symbol) which is used for modeling. The other is the Skeletal mode which is used for animating. Make sure you click on the Skeletal icon (see pic). "Hope that helps"
  7. I like it It has a style all its own. Well done.
  8. Glad to see you participate. It was nice seeing more A:Mers in last month's contest Looking real good, Dave. I love that blue character of yours. One thing though, they both seem to close their mouths after every word
  9. I agree, the outline looks really good, but I think you're oversplining on the nose part.
  10. The way Hash has always fixed bugs is via random updates. You say you have v13.0, but which update? Is it v13.0r, v13.0s, v13.0t ...etc? We are now in v14.0c You can find v13.0 updates here
  11. That is one nice looking sim. Is there any way you could change the rate of fall? The two visible ribbons look like they're falling at the same speed. If you could vary the fall you'd have yourself one organic and natural feeling ribbon Also, did you animate the snowflakes too? Never mind.
  12. Don't feel bad Jeff, I started Gumbo from scratch few times, I understood more the second and third time around than I did the first time. It's all good
  13. I don't know - I sure hope he's working on it, it would be damn shame to let it die.
  14. Do you mean like two extra bones (one for each eye) that works the same as the main eye bone aimer? Maybe have them a little smaller to destinguish them from the main one, that would make for a very useful and easy way to use and open up the possibilities for the animator. I was just afraid of making the rig more complicated than need be; you know, the more stuff you add the more problems to surface? But your work so far has been no less than the best.
  15. That looks pretty good. You can add a professional touch if you start with a black screen and fade into the scene, and use a dissolve transition to the credits. That'll make things easier on the eyes. Good luck.
  16. I found this old tear model/project here in the forums many, many moons ago. I simply animate it going down the model's cheek. tear.zip
  17. What is there to be ready for the 11SC? It is open to all animators at any level for any medium.
  18. No David. I don't think you should add it now that I know about the "Show_Eye_Targets". That'll do very nicely
  19. You've been one busy bee. Thanks a million. In cartoons, you often see the eyes rotate in different directions (like after the character is hit hard by a pan). Is it possible to allow for complete control over the rotation?
  20. Glad to meet you Camillo That looks like winner film you got there. Please keep us up to date with it. Wish you all the best.
  21. A used Adobe Premiere off of e-bay is what I have. And I'm quite satisfied wth it.
  22. Nancy, you know this software better than I do. I never used a Klieg before. I only know of Key Light, Fill Light and Rim Light. I guess Klieg is the name used long time ago
