  1. That is one great looking player, and the rig looks fantastic. I have the same question as Mike's, how did you get that shading value? And hey Waheed, Ramadan Kareem
  2. How about a wireframe to see how your splines are?
  3. Positive: Great looking charaters. Anticipation and follow thru are very good. Expression and exaggeration are on the mark. Nit-picking: Around frame 58, Shot 8, Henel's hands sink into the table, & around frame 300, Shot 9, Gretel's hair bows make some strange flicking. Their head movements look too mechanical, both moving at the same slow speed. Shot 11, the narrator says "starving is their frequent friend", but that is not translated well. 4. Wow! ............. I'm speechless. I don't want to know what the patch count is on this one. 7 contests won? You have been gone for a while. I pray your health is good and will stay that way Welcome back.
  5. Thank you ever so much Teresa. This is a gem of a find. Keep 'em coming.
  6. Nancy; that GIF avatar of yours is gonna give me nightmares.
  7. Way to go John. That was cool.
  8. I never thought of using Kliegs, I simply used Rim lights in this: [attachmentid=20791]
  9. Very nice. I didn't know Lady Goodbody can have such expressive facial animations! Job well done Nat.
  10. That was pretty cool. I love the music and introduction! And who is that? Is that Eddie from the A:M models library? LOL Oh my God! That is definitely a must see. Wo Hoo, go Eddie!
  11. ditto Alright, the link's fixed. Hey, that looks pretty darn cool. Good job Nathan. You had anticipation and follow thru in your animation, which pretty much covers the basics of good believable animation. I liked it alot
  12. Hey, that's pretty good. But the bootcamp is down the hall to your right (Students). This is the new users forum!
  13. I vaguely remember seeing your name in the forums. Good to have you back. So you're in Berkeley area? Hey there neighbor.
  14. Thanks for posting this T-Dogg. I just learned something new!
  15. Nah! It's the connection I tell you.
  16. That looks pretty close to what I have figured out so far John. I'll take a look at your project file soon. David; If you need to roll cloth in a mechanical way, like in a factory where flow and wrinkles are not necessary (also like rolling the red carpet), then Simcloth would not be the answer. Simcloth, I believe, was mainly created to make clothes behave more realistically (flow, wrinkles, weight etc..). It is still very touchy. I had to delete my original bed sheet model because one cp refused to respond and had many false starts before finally geting what I wanted.
  17. This'll tell you how http://www.hash.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=6510
  18. That looks really neat. I had no idea Schiltzy was such a neat freak Looks good.
  19. That looks sweet Mike. What is going on with your projec? The one with that superhero of yours?
  20. I don't see how you can do that because in chor window, when you try to add a cp the pointer turns into a path function, doesn't it?
  21. Isn't working with lights fun? Great WIP. I wouldn't have known it's your first if you didn't say so. I love the moonlit scene. You may want to add a blue rim light aimed at Schiltzy to simulate the moonlight reflecting on him? Maybe?
  22. You'll need to unzip each model, figure out what decals/materials go with each model then copy the files into your directory. The way I have it is the contents sit in a folder on my desk top and only import the models when I need them. It is a tedious task to figure out which decal goes with what model. Volume II will have each model along with its decals together in the same file so we don't have to look for stuff.
  23. I remember the subway station, but not the green dude for some reason (old age). Happy to see an old project come back to life. Please keep us posted.... and not in ten months!
  24. <click - play - repeat - scribble notes - click - repeat - pause - scrub - scribble notes - click - repeat - play backwards - stop - play forward - click - pause - scribble - close. Open project in progress - tweak - change - render - wait....> Rob, you're a natural teacher you know that? Thank you so much for sharing. That is some awesome work.
  25. Don't forget Dark City as well.
