  1. Bohot acha Sahib Congratulations on a job very well done. More, more, more....
  2. Way to go Stian. Superb craftsmanship, as we have come to expect from you. Keep pushing the limits.
  3. Let's see what his brother looks like before we name him.
  4. How about Flubnub?
  5. Whoaaaa! That was stupendous! Awesome work. That definitely blew me away. Gotta go & watch it again - this is for prime time.
  6. Please don't put it on YouTube. You'll be offending a lot of people. I can confidently say that I have more right than anyone in here to wish hell for Saddam, but I choose not to go down that road. A Sufi sage once said: "If anyone really knew what Hell was like, they would not wish it on their worst enemy". The Prophetic proverb that I try to live by, and hope that everyone take heed, is: "Have mercy upon everyone on earth so that The One in the heavens may have mercy upon you". I choose the path of forgiveness and mercy.
  7. Karl, that was the cell phone footage. The official "sanitized" footage was shot from the upper mez where the executioners were standing and only showed the noose around Saddam's neck stopping short of the opening of the floor door and had no sound. I sent Bruce a PM expressing my reaction to his clip, and I'll leave at that. I just wanted to correct the information.
  8. That is beautiful. The canoe, the water, reflections, everything. I love it. I don't think realism is what you're after as much as believability. Instead of having the man freeze after rowing have him move very slowly like he's straightening his back or something, just ever so slightly so that you don't break the mood with either too abrupt a movement or an abrupt freeze. Great job.

    Butts

Learn from the best. I make it a habit of collecting jpeg of the works of other's. here's one from our friendly, most helpful guru Yves Poissant Learn, oh young paduan.
  10. I think they look awesome. That canoe scene is especialy nice. Good work.
  11. NVIDIA cards are the culprits. ATI Radeon works fine. I just live with it until there's an NVIDIA patch.
  12. Yeah! I enjoyed it too. Nice moon-scape, and the sound is top notch. very well done. Now you got my attention I want more

    Decals

Or, go to Tools>Options>Global and switch Real-time Driver between Open GL and Direct 3D. Usually that solves it.
  14. A job very well done Ethan. Congratulations! I enjoyed it very much. Great attention to detail on the environment, and those eyes! You have really captured the characters with those eyes, even the barracudas. Thanks for the entertainment. Off to watch it again
  15. Excellent! Love the anticipation, exaggeration and follow thru. All of the basics of cartoon animation are very well done. Now, is the "sneezer" supposed to be sneaking up on the victim or that's just the way he waddles when he walks?
  16. The "Sorcerez" (little witch gal) will work with the Orabgutan (big orange monkey) files and vice-a-versa.

    Slow learner

The best way I found to learn anything is to go step by step. The first step is The Art of Animation:Master exercises. After that many people branch off to experiment on the aspect of the program that originally motivated them to buy it. What many members have done was to start their project and post it in the WIP (work In Progress) folder where they ask questions that they want answered and other members contribute with their answers. We are all learning here
  18. Master Jedi Dex, the Jedi with the blue spandex bikini shorts LOL That looks pretty good Al. The back has a few flat spots that need a bit of rounding off, but it look like you're almost there. Keep up the good work.
  19. That looks great. Nice job. Sony has a wrist communicator with a camera and the whole thing looks like a watch. My question is: where do they put the cell batteries?
  20. I smell Ratatouille Nice work. I like the simple design with the sophistication of a shiny plate.
  21. Incredible skin shading. How'd you do that?
  22. Just make a new topic like : .:shortdog:. Bootcamp or Madeline's Bootcamp, that way we can find you easily and help you out
  23. Madeline, is this a Work In Progress? Or do you think this is more suitable in the Students folder where we learn the intricacies of animation?
  24. That looked really good. I love the sound, very realistic. What caught my eyes was the absence of reflection of the jet against the water.
  25. Too bad you missed the deadline Paul. That second one would've gotten my vote. I love the snowed-in city.
