  1. My suggestion, before you go any further, is to put the pen in an environment such as an office with painted walls, a desk with wood decal, anything that will reflect an image on your pen. That would be the best way to get the desired effect. For all you know you have the right look, but because you put it in the default chor, you're not seeing it.
  2. Here's Colin's tutorial that I think works pretty good. http://www.colins-loft.net/CoopEye.html
  3. Locate where those files are that A:M is asking for and open them as it asks for them. Once you do that A:M will remember where they are and shouldn't ask you again. Creating a folder for your projects is a good idea, that way all related files are in one place and makes it easy to find should you need to. A saved project will load all the models related to it. But if you want to use a model that's in the project in another project, it's a good idea to save that model separately (it'll save as a .MDL). Save it in a folder that is easy to locate.

You're probably in shaded mode. Change to wire mode (number 7 on your keyboard)
  5. Experiment with both.
  6. There are many great ideas out there, executing those ideas is the crux. The formulas that I have concluded, based on my personal observation, are as follows; Great story + great animation = a classic. Great story + bad animation = good. Great animation + bad story = bad. Bad story + bad animation = waste of time. Cats in Black has a catchy name, and if excuted well, then it's great. You have the freedom to do what you want, so why don't you take the plunge and make a story board first then we can give you our input wheather this will be a good idea or not.
  7. No. At the moment the hope is for a DVD release IF the quality is deemed adequate for it. In the meantime, we'll just keep learning
  8. Have the CP's channel editors in question their interpolation been set to zero slope? I have had a problem of 'wandering CPs' when my model was built in v12 then trnasferred to v13. But your screencap shows a more extreme case.
  9. MAN! My sides hurt from laughing. Thanks for the link. That was hilarious! Oh my God...my eyes are tearing up...that was so funny
  10. For QuickTime .mov, choose the Sorensen 3 compression.
  11. How big is the file?
  12. I'm just glad to see you still pluggin' away at this project, Kelley
  13. Consider me assimilated That's a great use of layers if I ever seen one.
  14. I think that looks fantastic! I wouldn't do anything else to it except maybe add fog. Quite intriguing.
  15. You have such an exquisite style. I am taken by it. Keep up the great work!
  16. Wow! That's super, John. I like very much. Hey....this isn't my wallet.
  17. Hey. I really enjoyed that. Even without sound, that looked awesome
  18. Bruce! That was fantastic! I loved the characters, I loved the gig. I loved the music, and best of all I loved the surprises. Entertaining all the way thru. Awesome job man
  19. Yeah, the Earle rules. I've been a fan of his style for many years. I'm hoping one day to incorporate his style in my animations. Don't know the others, but their's is more complex than the Earle's.
  20. That looks great. Keep up the good work.
  21. Have you looked at all your primitives in the library? I'm sure you can build what you want with a combination of primitives. If not, I'd search under Boolean.
  22. What a jaw dropper Oh the things I could do to her.....er...with her.....er....I mean....animate her......good animation......er......clean.....animation...yeah.
  23. In your chor. window, in the Project Work Space, click the little triangle that's in your sound and look for Start and End times and see if they match your choreography action.
  24. Yeah! I didn't get a chance to see it either. What's up with that?
  25. Now you caught my interest. I love jazz. And I love cartoons playing jazz even more. Can't wait to see your movie
