  1. Looks great so far. I would agree with robcat about the posture, however this looks pretty good as it is! Keep us posted!
  2. Simple, yet elegant modeling! I think that textures are just a little bit too pronounced... I just feel that her facial expression is a bit sad... Keep us posted!
  3. Looks cool so far! Let's see what is next!
  4. Looks great, especially having in mind that the model is not textured yet! Let's see the rest of it! Keep us posted! Drvarceto
  5. This is one cool reel... I have to say that ant part of the demo looks a bit too unpolished compared to the rest of it... Cloth simulation part: cape and groincloth are of the same colour and when I wached it for the first time I was certain that capes passed through poor Thom ;P Other than that, fantastic! Your creatures are very frightening and have air of reality about them. Keep us posted!
  6. I seem to repeat myself, but thanks David! Your videos are as much informative as your rig is cool and useful! Drvarceto uh... Thanks to you too, Rodney!
  7. Congrats Ken! Great looking model, you are now official A:M proffessonal!
  8. Great start Kricket... Looks great so far! pppplleeeaaaasssse keep us posted! Drvarceto
  9. Great ant model! Very realistic! Keep us posted! Drvarceto
  10. Nice to have you back, man... Great model! keep us posted! Drvarceto
  11. Cool! you nailed the exact look! keep us posted!
  12. This is one cool image! My only remark is posing of the characters... they should show more drama with their possing... this way, they look... well... disinterested... Other than that, no remarks! drvarceto
  13. Squetch rig is the way to go!!! Whole setup for my character took somewhere around 2.5 hrs (including linking geometry to bones) and it is absolute no brainer (look for squetch rig topic at rigging part of this forum). You get squetching ability for the model (way too cool), really superior animation rig and no one can beat the price (its free) (Also, Martin took it as THE RIG for TWO movie) Thanks again to David Simmons who made it! btw: great lookin' gal! She'll squetch nicely ;-D Drvarceto
  14. Muff great models! I could use them too! Drvarceto
  15. There is amazing one on A:M Extra CD which can be downloaded from the Hash site (free models)...(you'll have to check out about copyright and use issues, though, it was submitted as hash contest entry, I cannot recal authors name at the moment)
  16. After some hundred viewings (several times a day, 2 - 3 times in a row ;-D) I have to say that I am still amazed! Nice pacing, lot of action, cool special effects... only remark, there is one residue of the storyboard which lasts part of the second... What about the distribution? A:M films is a cool place, but this baby needs to be seen... EVERYWHERE! Drvarceto

    New Creature

GREAT WORK CORY!!! This is some really scarry stuff! That creature looks... uh... real... Drvarceto
  18. Yeah, this thing works great! I've tried it!
  19. No, I meant here on the forum... sorry that I wasn't too clear... my bad!
  20. I would wholeheartiedly recommend video tutorials on rigging the face with bones made by itsjustme (David Simmons)... (they are somewhere in the tutorials section). They do contain some basic explanations and then jump to the hard stuff... steep learning curve, but they contain some info which is not available enywhere else... Together with the AOM, they should get you going in the right direction. I would also highly recommend squetch rig (it was just made for the type of characters that you make - also by itsjustme - it comes with great instalation tutorial and plugin that would take much of the work to itself) uh... it is located in the rigging section! I think that this is all you need! Drvarceto
  21. Good work so far... I would agree about the eyes... It would look more spy-ish if his lids cover some of his irisses... I am afraid that he looks a bit puzzled now ;-P Keep us posted Drvarceto
  22. This IS QUALITY ANIMATION if I have ever seen one! Great work, Noah! You are an inspiration!
  23. Looks just right... any sith would feel safe carying it ;-D
  24. I voted can't decide... It all depends what are you trying to achieve with the animation... Both versions look equally good in different situations... btw: amazing looking model! Great job!
