  1. Great model! Thanks for sharing, it is nicely done... Happy splinin' with the TWO project! I am sure that you'll be of great help there!
  2. Robcat, visiting your site "Tiny, tiny monkeys" called for my attention, I came to see that you have even more critical perception of the politicians than I do... Anyway, here is (pretty much word for word) translation of the lyrics of the first verse: (so don't expect great poetry in english here) Empty days are rolling I am good for nothing My head fills thick My aura grays I think I have something But everything slips my fingers Where are you good days Where are you now Refrain: I am so bad at school, Maybe I should run for Parliament I'll vote when cued I'll look good on TV I hope that this clarifies things a bit...
  3. Robcat, THANKS! Since there were no other responses, I've concluded this: 1. Nobody was able to download it (I've tried, it works, Robcat did) 2. Nobody wanted to waste bandwidh (Animation is 6.8MB) 3. Way to boooooring (it has singing and dancing in it) 4. It is so badly done, that it does not deserve any comment (mea culpa, mea maxima culpa...) So, to spice up things a bit, these are several frames from the animation... wahdda' ya think? 4. Visit http://trajcedrv.mylivepage.com/ and from "file archive", download "pratenik one day 12..." It should work!
  5. Satyajit, thank you so much for sharing your process with us... This is going to be not only fun, but also educational! keep us posted! Drvarceto
  6. This is approximately half of the music video that was made as comment on political process and ability of members of the parliament of my country... http://trajcedrv.mylivepage.com/file/?fileid=493 (You'll probably need to copy link and paste it in your browser to be able to download it) Unfortunately I didn't made it on time for the elections this year, and you'll probably miss the whole message... so what... I hope that you'll like the music (My wife Marina composed it) and if you really, really want to know, I'll post rough English translation. (Words by my Brother, John) I wasn't going for perfect animation (I tried to be as fast as possible), but basically I love how it turned out... Most of the animation is the second pass and it could use some touch-ups... As for the second pass animation I also am very satisfied with lip-synch, and the character turned out to be fairly expressive, although it is simplicity itself There is one character that was pasted into choreography, but I forgot to assign it to its path (you'll notice it) and near the end animation is simply unfinished. As it is, it will probably remain unfinished, but I would really like to share and see what you (A:M Gals and A:M guys) think... Drvarceto
  7. You should check quality setting of the volumetric light... better quality -> less bending - > longer renders...
  8. I don't own AM painter, so no help there... Will Sutton (Zandoria studios) has wonderful uv mapping tutorial (google for zadoria studios, you'll be fine)... I am afraid that it is a bit advanced... However, it is probably better idea to read AM painter's instructions! You'll have to do it eventually, so why not now?
  9. You are on the right track! MORE! MORE!
  10. This is sooo cool! I love it! great job, Marcel!
  11. Just google for Irfanview or Xnview (I hope I spelled those right); They do much more than just converting Tgas to other formats
  12. In 'render to file settings', choose 'mini' resolution
  13. This is one very realistic horse! Great job, can't wait to see it textured!
  14. I am by no means alien expert, so I cannot comment on accuracy of the model... Looks pretty good to me, but as always, aliens work best in the dark, and they sould be more felt than seen... ;-) However, queen absolutely needs some bones and beauty pose to be appreciated in its gory loveliness...
  15. Great model, really looks like ol' Marlon from 'the Godfather'
  16. Jim donated both this data and the data for "Leopard Queen" (which in on the existing "Extras" CD). It would be great if somebody did an animation with these scenes! I absolutely second this idea! Jim's models have always been true inspiraton and source of amazing modeling ideas (simple, yet elegant and absolutely lovely) Also, his feeling of composition and form, have been a source of endless frustration (why I am not half that good)...
  17. Looks great so far! Keep us posted!
  18. I DID IT! VERN, I love you even more! THANKS! (I hope that I'll be able to post animation soon with my rigged and textured (COMBINED) model) He (the model) thanks you too;-D Drvarceto
  19. This is one cool project! Can't wait to see it moving!
  20. VERN! I love you man! I don't have my A:M and project here (I am writing this from work) but now I know that it will work out in the end! (btw I am still at 11.1, so it is certified) THANKS!!! Also, thank you ALL for prompt soulution to my problem!
  21. WOW !!! Thank you all! I'll try everything in the order of appearance ;-P I'll inform you about (IF) any sucess! THANKS!
  22. I have somewhat unorthodox problem... I have two instances of a character: 1. Rigged model (not textured) 2. Textured model (not rigged) Spline Mesh of the both models is identical (some CP's are moved around, but no other changes) Could it be possible to take those two instances of a model and make them one ? (the easier way than take rigged model and texture it or vice versa) Any ideas?
  23. I've justa managed to see this! Cool character! I agree with above said suggestions, and I find one more area for improvement: I wouldn't use 'aim at' constraint with the camera, but I would rather move it by hand. The way it is, I find camera movement too distracting... Cool start, I want to see more! Drvaceto
