  1. COOL!!! Great models, cool renders, keep us posted!
  2. Looks great! Is this going to lead to some real (and paying) cooperation?
  3. This os one really cool character! Thanks for sharing, Jon. I am itching to download it an try it (I just hope that it will work with v11.1).GREAT WORK!
  4. Looks GREAT!!! Only remark: textures on the floor are miss-aligned. Other than that, GREAT!!! Drvarceto
  5. nononono! I mean import into choreography window! from choreography you can rightclick- export choreography as model!
  6. I seem to have missed this cool project: Easiest way to make this project is: 1. use one cross section as the separate model (put bone in the middle of the caroussel facing upwards or downwards)... 2. Import as many cross sections (models as necessary) 3. Rotate the bone by the exact ammount (under properties, z rotate (I think, from the top of my mind)) 4. When everything fits into place, export choreography as model (don't forget to erase the lights, the camera and the ground plane) 5. That's it Alternative: save choreography and then import it where needed (that way you will not have one extra complicated uber model, but several smaller which can be organized into their separate folder) Hope that this helps! keep us posted! Drvarceto
  7. Great, as usual! thanks, Serg!
  8. This is model of Mikke Musse . I have posted older version of it once upon a time, but Rodney reminded me that I should repost it, which I have (thanks Rodney) [attachmentid=20913] I was going for the 30's look of the character, so have in mind that they used to draw him with dimes in that time, so Mikke didn't Squashed and Stretched much... It is rigged with older version of the Squetch rig, so it doesn't have all the bells and whistles (No hand gizmo, no face rig), but it squetches well. I have made improvised version of the face rig with controls that I felt were necessary for this simple character, and they can be pretty expressive;) Many thanks to Hash, David Simmons and others that gave me the knowledge, amazing software and this way too cool rig! Enjoy, Drvarceto trajcedrv <at> yahoo.com (I already have enough spam mail) [attachmentid=20914] p.s. The material groups are in named in Macedonian, but I think that they are easily manageable Mikke_Musse_Squetch.zip
  9. Remember what Arnold said? This is one ugly... but in a good way! Great job, I love it!
  10. This is one GOOOD piece of animation!!! Hey, Robcat... you communicate with all those fine animation teachers... ask them if it is O.K. to drool when one sees somebody's animation? I am not asking for myself... one friend wanted to know...
  11. Great model! Thanks for sharing, it is nicely done... Happy splinin' with the TWO project! I am sure that you'll be of great help there!
  12. Robcat, visiting your site "Tiny, tiny monkeys" called for my attention, I came to see that you have even more critical perception of the politicians than I do... Anyway, here is (pretty much word for word) translation of the lyrics of the first verse: (so don't expect great poetry in english here) Empty days are rolling I am good for nothing My head fills thick My aura grays I think I have something But everything slips my fingers Where are you good days Where are you now Refrain: I am so bad at school, Maybe I should run for Parliament I'll vote when cued I'll look good on TV I hope that this clarifies things a bit...
  13. Robcat, THANKS! Since there were no other responses, I've concluded this: 1. Nobody was able to download it (I've tried, it works, Robcat did) 2. Nobody wanted to waste bandwidh (Animation is 6.8MB) 3. Way to boooooring (it has singing and dancing in it) 4. It is so badly done, that it does not deserve any comment (mea culpa, mea maxima culpa...) So, to spice up things a bit, these are several frames from the animation... wahdda' ya think? 14. Visit http://trajcedrv.mylivepage.com/ and from "file archive", download "pratenik one day 12..." It should work!
  15. Satyajit, thank you so much for sharing your process with us... This is going to be not only fun, but also educational! keep us posted! Drvarceto
  16. This is approximately half of the music video that was made as comment on political process and ability of members of the parliament of my country... http://trajcedrv.mylivepage.com/file/?fileid=493 (You'll probably need to copy link and paste it in your browser to be able to download it) Unfortunately I didn't made it on time for the elections this year, and you'll probably miss the whole message... so what... I hope that you'll like the music (My wife Marina composed it) and if you really, really want to know, I'll post rough English translation. (Words by my Brother, John) I wasn't going for perfect animation (I tried to be as fast as possible), but basically I love how it turned out... Most of the animation is the second pass and it could use some touch-ups... As for the second pass animation I also am very satisfied with lip-synch, and the character turned out to be fairly expressive, although it is simplicity itself There is one character that was pasted into choreography, but I forgot to assign it to its path (you'll notice it) and near the end animation is simply unfinished. As it is, it will probably remain unfinished, but I would really like to share and see what you (A:M Gals and A:M guys) think... Drvarceto
  17. You should check quality setting of the volumetric light... better quality -> less bending - > longer renders...
  18. I don't own AM painter, so no help there... Will Sutton (Zandoria studios) has wonderful uv mapping tutorial (google for zadoria studios, you'll be fine)... I am afraid that it is a bit advanced... However, it is probably better idea to read AM painter's instructions! You'll have to do it eventually, so why not now?
