Ah, yeah. create an action, animate the light within eg 16 frames. put the action on the model in the chor and set the cycle lenght to 1 frame. I'll do a test and see
I have kind of gotten addicted to making models from Thomas & Friends, So before I go back working on the Nidaros Cathedral I just had to make yet another contribution to his friends
If you are going to use decals, you can simply add two images in the same decal image folder. Since it's just drag and drop the second image into the images folder that was created when applying the first they will line up perfectly. Set one to 100% color and one to 0% color. In the chor you can animate their visibility by adjusting the color percentage. And the best of all, it is not limited to just two images, you can add many more
Thank you for the nice comments!
Actually, Thomas and Henry are one of the more simple models I have made lately. Thomas is at about 10,000 patches, and Henry is at 18,000 patches. And that is with everything beveled
Hi
Due to lack of reference images I had to take a break from the cathedral.
Poor Thomas looked so lonely, so I decided to make him a friend
By the way. In near future I plan on making more of his friends, so if anyone know of any great resource pages for these trains such as blueprints or reference images, please let me know.

Thank you Nancy!
I will most likely add the statues on the west front. I hope to make a generic model that I will equip with various props and make various poses according to the real statues. It takes between 2 and 3 hours rendering each image at 100% AO as you mentioned. I don't dare aiming the trebuchet toward this model
More done to the Octagon.
The main structure is almost done. Just minor additions to the Octagon, and there is a wall missing on the south side (I don't have reference images of that wall because the wall is covered up due to maintenance)
It does not need to be non-continuous as long as you peak the spline (hit [P] on the CP you want to be sharp). Also, in your case maddle, add the spline diagonally (lower left CP to upper right CP, not lower left to upper left)
