  1. Here is a turntable of Thomas
  2. Thank you guys Here is an update. The face has been updated. Its no there yet, but it will have to do for now
  3. Thanks Paul. Yeah, I'll probably respline parts of his face. I rushed it together before I went to bed last night
  4. Have you tried denser mesh? Add an horisontal spline. If you upload the project with the decal I could take a look at it if you want, to see if I am able to reproduce the result. btw, what version of A:M are you using?
  5. Does the problem appear in final render as well?
  6. Thank you for the comments. I've updated the image on the first post with a better render. Haven't done any tweaking yet, I'm at work right now Technically, I spent two nights In the future, I want to make some of his friends as well, and perhaps some environment. Here is an wireframe if anyone is interested. 10073 patches, mostly due to the beveling
  7. Hi Guys I felt like taking a small brake from the Cathedral project, so last night I started on another project I've wanted to do for a long time. Thomas the Tank Engine Anyway, almost done with the model, just some minor details missing and some tweaking on his face left to do (to get rid of his "crazy" look). Let me know what you think so far. I might have bigger plans for this guy, not sure when I'm able to realize them though. I'll upload a better render of him tomorrow Best regards Stian *edit* image updated

Thanks for the comments Here is a new update. Currently I'm working on the main tower. Hopefulle I'll have something to show within the next week
  9. I have however seen similar artifact as you last render when I've had double up of patches
  10. Works for me. v15.0f Please test the attached project rivets.zip
  11. Can you upload the displacementmap used on the last render? I would like to inspect it
  12. Don't use jpg's, they have compression artifacts that displacement map doesn't like. Use Targa. Nice update by the way
  13. Nice! What are the reflections made of? Is it specularity or reflection/luminaire

Thank you! Thank you. I forgot to answer your last question. I'm going to texture it, but not sure to what degree yet. I will render out a turntable when done, but not right now. I also plan on making a QT VR. Current rendertime for the latest render is about 3 hours btw, does anyone know of any good alternatives to QT VR (I do have VR Studio at work)? Some kind of simple application where you just loads all the frames. Flash output would be nice

Thank you so much for the heartwarming comments. This update is a little delayed. I had a computer crash earlier this week. My videocard went to videocardheaven, so I had to buy a new one. At the same time I had to format my systempartition and reinstall everything. Anyway, attached is the new update, hope you like it
  17. I second that. Very cozy. How did you make the carpet?
  18. Your trees are awesome, as always Mark
  19. Very nice model, but I agree with Eric regarding the dark color and specularity, also isn't the grid spacing a bit to big?
  20. Yeah, nice progress. Your last render have an atmosphere that I like very much
