  1. There is. Booleans!
  2. Getting there, tomorrow...FEET! You guys are funny with your 'Pearly Gates' comments... I've been learning a song on guitar with these lyrics: Last night I dreamed I made it to the promised land, I was standin at the gate- had the key in my hand. St Peter said 'come in boy- your finally home'. I said, 'No thanks, Pete- I'll just be travellin on!' -------------------------------------------------------------------- Maybe it's 'kismet'. Steve Earle, "I aint Never Satisfied" 3rd verse. WARNING: Sappy 1980's music!
  3. Progress on the body.
  4. FASCINATING! Hats off to all of you... Stian, Marcos and Rodger.
  5. Great minimal splinage! If you want, I put (a long time ago) a flag and cloth-simulated flag-wave action in the free models forum...
  6. You know it! It would be great to do some AMTrack-ing with him.
  7. reworked the mouth...eyebrows...nostrils... added a tongue...
  8. Remember Greg Schumski's VW Microbus model? I wonder if it would hold-up to yours... you could do a side-by-side...
  9. Head-Thorax-Abdomen. LOOKING GOOD! I think you got some good input above... can't wait to see next. I'd like to see some depth of field on it, but thats just me.
  10. I'm not a 'boob-guy' either... Nancy just thinks I am because I like to look at, model, animate, and spend insubordinate hours just thinking about... oh- maybe I am!
  11. HERBIE! #53! I was just wondering the other day what you have been up to. A great choice for a model... think it's been done by another Hasher- but never as clean as yours. DO ME A FAVOR... when you do your final render... turn the front wheels a little bit- love that. You are the best!
  12. Cute. I am in the middle of a MAJOR remodeling job on my house that started by having a 'cute' cat piss all over the place.Grrrrrrrrr!
  13. HA! Why do I hear the music from 'the crying game'... or 'Rocky Horror Picture Show"...
  14. That happens to me too. Probably needs to be reported. It is looking at your actions and automatically adjusting the chor to hold them all, even tho that is not wanted. You really need to remember to set it down when you are doing a cloth sim or simulate spring systems or particle-bake operation which are time intensive and can go on WAY too long if the chor range is set too high...
  15. I assume you are in a choreography...? You can turn OFF all the lights and set either the camera or choreography's global ambiance to 100 for a quick-render flat shaded look. You can even go further and set the model in the chor to be flat-shaded under 'options'... what else...
  16. Had fun the other day modeling... trying some stuff I've finally learned from you guys... came out pretty nice for how little time I spent on it. cartoon_head.mov
  17. Great looking dragon!
  18. Skydrive is another cool free service that may be helpful in getting your sequence to Robcat. It is part of the Microsoft-Google-Hotmail umbrella, so Apple folk could be alienated...but with a 25 GB limit... free... http://explore.live.com/windows-live-skydrive We would need an email address from Rob that we could direct to...
  19. Very interesting... how did you do all that with only 2 bones?
  20. Wanna trade lives for a week?
  21. I can compress it like crazy and email it... what email address should I send it to? OR- Rob, do you use Dropbox? It's free and easy... tell em I sent you (matt@campbellanimation.com) you can give us the link and we can write to it...
  22. Is there an email address or FTP or Dropbox account that we can use to get our submissions to you?
  23. I'd suppose an action... assemble everything together in various actions... one action would be 'ALL PARTS' another would be 'PARTS A, B, C..." If you did it in a pose, you would turn the transparency for a group to zero... which works well but has drawbacks- one being if you render with ambient occlusion the transparent items cause full occlusion.
  24. I just breezed thru this whole thread and missed the info I need... Rob- what is the preferred method of delivering our contributions to you... do we upload it to the forum?
