  1. Don't forget to use linear spline interpolation for the pauses (if not all the ease keyframes).
  2. I've had a crash with a large image....for the mascot contest. Sent a report. I've 8mb.
  3. Yeah, you need to render, for example, frames 0-1000 on the first instance and then 1001 to 2000 on the other instance. Of course it doesn't need to be in thousand frame batches.
  4. I think Will should have his own section of the forum. Hint hint.
  5. It would be so cool to animate a character like that. Inspiring stuff.
  6. Heh. Porridgey. Interesting technique!
  7. Are these lines on the rotoscope or actual grid lines? I'm imagining the rotoscope being of lower quality in real time.....which makes the lines blurry/thicker. I had a workaround for this, but it doesn't work any more.
  8. Select the feet nulls and go into their spline curves in the timeline. Their splines should be set to smooth which creates a little bit of motion in places you don't want it. Just select the keyframes where the foot is on the ground and set them to linear. That's as good as I can explain without the action.
  9. Sounds like the feet keyframes need to be made to linear to stick them to the ground.
  10. Well done. I donated a nominal amount for all the enjoyment.
  11. I can wait a while. Thanks.
  12. I (with others) intend to finish SO this year. And I want to try to make a cartoony moving character in 3D. I'm sure other projects will try to interfere though.
  13. Hi David. Thanks for the updates. Any idea when you'll have the rig that won't need any resetting of compensates available?
  14. Gorgeous prison!? But Flemm seems a little washed out.
  15. Yeah no yelling at Steffen! I thought you meant Steve Sappington. You can yell all you like at him because he's not around any more. PS Steffen does it for free? Someone's getting a good deal.
  16. Steve who? I believe there's an included plugin that would do this. I think it's called sweeper.
  17. Sounds like a realtime issue. Maybe try updating your graphic card drivers? If that doesn't do it, try switching from Opengl to DirectX or vice versa in the options.
  18. Wow. Colin learned a lot in 3 years!
  19. Indeed. Better hurry though. One day left!
  20. This problem was supposed to have been fixed. Very confusing.
  21. Great model! I wonder how eye lashes would look. I think she would want them.
  22. Love it. What a great scene for my train! Nice rigging on it too! A light at the front might finish it off.
  23. A masterpiece. You even got a fly to star in the background. I guess there was someone off camera to turn on the light but how did you get the doors to open and close? Are they CG?
  24. Nooooo! Santa has black gloves and a hat! I just don't believe it's him without them. But great model otherwise!
  25. Texas is a scary place! I guess I could do that, but I think I'm done fiddling. Besides I do like the font for its uniqueness. Ideally I should cut some of the height off the images, but then there'd be less picture so I don't want to do that either. Swings and roundabouts. Lets say I learned a lot on this first book. Thanks for a possible potential sale! The "search inside" feature should be available on the Amazon site soon and you might see the missing pages. I'm not sure how that works. BTW Darklimit: Let us know more about your book project when ready.
