  1. Ah it does here too. I was rotating the big thumb bone. I think I've been using the squetch rig too long. Cheers.
  2. That'll do it till the update. Thanks fellas.
  3. I'm just testing this to install in a model. The example characters' thumbs second joints don't bend in v15f. Is this a version bug or is there something I'm missing? Thanks.
  4. Wow....you're motoring now! Tell me, is the sales man...den den den..... actually Mr Sneeze? I've never seen them in the same strip together. The last cell is unusual in that the speaker has their back turned. I don't know if I've ever seen that before.
  5. Is he standing on circuit boards?
  6. Ah well. Looks like the pirates will be encountering a dragon. Hope you didn't put your back out.
  7. Looks great. I'm a little confused as to why the witch doctor rolls on the ground. Does Flemm pull him too hard? And although he goes over Flemm, he's still ends up landing behind him. But maybe time has gone by.
  8. I think you arrived at something very dynamic. I dare you to find a way to get someone to be emerging from the top of the frame....upside down. Now that would be really dynamic. It's a little hard to make out the docs face. But that's not necessarily a bad thing.....make 'em wait till the next one. How is the lighting done? Did you mention it? Made blue in photoshop or rendered that way? Oh and I know you're going for simplicity, but I'd love to see something break up the line where the wall meets the ground. PS A tip to make something stand out might be to use the ambient colour property. PPS And I've just noticed you changed the frame colour to black. Why?
  9. Oh maybe to get more readers, you could compile a few strips into a video and put it on youtube. I think Greyhawk would open a sizeable following.
  10. What's the slowest part? I assuming posing the characters is fairly quick. Four hours is quite long if you're doing it every day. Are you doing the poses in a pose window of the model? It would be good to have some base poses that'll be used often....then you can vary them in the chor. On a preference note, I think something could be done with their feet. They look to "defaultish". And Sneezes' left pinky looks odd to me in the last pose.....it's like he's sticking it out to drink his tea. lol Otherwise it looks great. Is the wall directly behind them missing a texture?
  11. Cool character. I'd expect him to have a crazy hat as a witch doctor. He'll be easy to lip sync!
  12. I was thinking of offering some of the AM models on a password protected server. But your idea is good too. Just something to mull over. Do pirates not say "Ye" instead of "You" and "Oi" instead of "I"?
  13. Hmm....just thinking aloud, but the models/scenes could be value added content when the book is bought.
  14. I think the hooves need a cavity at the back of them to make them look more dynamic. The hoof is only the toe of an animal. But this is fantasy. Nice new dude!
  15. Wow. This is going to be fun. In the first box, the guy looks like a real model. I think the blurred background is helping that....with the lighting. Love it.
  16. Hooves are hard right. I'm starting to like the one on the ground better. I think the whole hoof need shifting forward. If you notice in Rodneys attachments, there is clear air under the ankle joint and the front of the hoof is sort of elongated. But I appreciate if you're sick of hooves.
  17. Oh just on house keeping, I hope you're getting your files real organised and backing up for this marathon! I have a separate drive with synctoy scheduled to back up to it daily. It works well. Just a reminder.
  18. Great! Lots of reading in store.
  19. Wow...that's amazing. I can hear the "whosh" sounds as the objects go past the camera. I think this has potential to be a viral video. I'm not sure if it's any help, but I believe you can use a pose in an action object.
  20. Nice! You might put a highlight on her hair to make the outline stand out.
  21. Such things 3D is made for. The hooves are really bothering me though. It reminds me of Sculpey material.
  22. Ah, he would be perfect for controlling in HAMR. I can dream right. My nephew is mad about Thomas, so I'll be showing him this. Looks just like him. Nice job.
  23. Wow. I think he could take off. Who designed him? Really nice style. (Sometimes I wish you did animation other than ads.)
  24. Probably a good move. You can build up a library while making the strip and keep the strip readers while seducing the 3D market too. I wonder how the 3D characters would look "tooned". I'm sure you'll get around to an animation some time in the future.
  25. Cool. For the troll pose, he might turn his head toward the slaugh but keep his eyes on the apple to show he's not solely focused on the apple.
